Replace the single-servo wheel cylinder in your free-backing, driver's-side hydraulic brake. Works with 10" and 12" brakes that are rated for 3,500-lb, 5,200-lb, 6,000-lb, and 7,000-lb axles. Coating on cylinder is corrosion resistant.

Today we're going to take a look at the replacement uni-servo wheel cylinder for the left-hand side 10 inch and 12 inch free-backing brakes. This is a replacement uni-servo hydraulic cylinder that fits 10 inch and 12 inch brake assemblies; rated for 3,500 pound to 7,000 pound axles. This is compatible with brake assemblies for most manufacturers; including Axle Tech, Dexter, Lipper, AIC, and Alco. This is a uni-servo, which is the single plunger design. The configuration for this wheel cylinder is the left-hand driver side. If you notice, it has a nice corrosion resistant coating, which is durable and long-lasting. If you notice, it has the L on it for left-hand side, and the wheel cylinder inside diameter on this is one and one eighth inches. That should do it for the review on the replacement uni-servo wheel cylinder for left-hand side 10 inch and 12 inch free-backing brakes..

After 2 years brake fluid is slowly leaking from both the brake bleed threaded fitting and the brake fluid supply line threaded fitting even though they are fully tightened. In addition the rubber boot is also leaking fluid. I also replaced the right hand side with the RH version of the same cylinder at the same time as the LH side and it is as dry as a bone so maybe I just got a bad one. Overall disappointed in the product.

One year later the wheel cylinders are working great and no leaks or corrosion. This is a fresh water trailer though. Highly recommend the parts and service from etrailer.
