Hook up an auxiliary tank to your RV to provide propane in case your primary runs dry during long campouts and get extra versatility in your propane system. Provides you with a #600 (1"-20) outlet for cooking without disposable cylinders.

Features:

  • T-fitting lets you connect a backup auxiliary cylinder to your RV's propane system
    • No need to break up camp to go refill your onboard ASME tank
  • POL fittings install in-line between your tank valve and pigtail to your pressure regulator
  • 1/4" Female inverted flare inlet lets you hook up a pigtail attached to your auxiliary tank
    • Close the valve on your ASME tank to run appliances with an easily refillable DOT cylinder
    • When valve on your tank is open, can function as an outlet to run an appliance
  • Male #600 (1"-20) port attaches to extension hose to fuel appliances
    • Eliminates need for wasteful disposable cylinders that quickly run out of gas
  • Durable brass fittings approved for LP gas only
    • UL and CSA certified
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Temperature range: -40 F to 350 F
  • Maximum pressure rating: 250 psi
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Note: When using the Sturgi-Stay ports for cooking, bear in mind that the propane pressure is still high, as the Sturgi-Stay is installed before the regulator. Outdoor cooktops, grills, or other appliances will often require a regulator. Check your equipment to see if one is required.

Make camping more fun and relaxing. Moving your RV once you've gotten settled at the campsite is a real chore. No one wants to have to pack up, unplug, and go refill the propane tank, just to come back to the site and set everything up all over again. This Sturgi-Stay T-fitting lets you connect an auxiliary cylinder to your setup using the included fill hose. As a result, you can run your appliances from the propane in your cylinder rather than using up the LP gas from your RV's tank. When you run out, just refill the auxiliary cylinder and hook it up again.

The disposable cylinder port on the Sturgi-Stay provides a connection point for a small, portable appliance or propane tree. This way you can power a grill, heater, or other accessory without needing to use a 1-lb throwaway cylinder. Simply attach an extension hose (sold separately) to your appliance and then to the disposable cylinder port on the T-fitting.

  • Can You Install a Rubber Hose Between the Tank and MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting
The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting part # 103602-MBS should be threaded directly into the tank. If you don't have clearance for this on your setup you may need to purchase some adapter fittings or alter your existing setup. That said, there isn't any sort of rubber hole that would connect the tank to the tee. If you have hard lines, you can use them with this tee so long as the fittings are correct. I can't comment on which exact adapter you need for your setup but you can take a look...

  • T-Fitting to Hook up Coleman RoadTrip Grill
There is a solution for you that will allow you to hook up your Coleman RoadTrip and not use 2 regulators on the same line. The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting for POL Valve # 103602-MBS will connect to your POL tank while the female POL outlet connects to the regulator on your motorhome and you can hook up your Coleman RoadTrip via the disposable cylinder port. I have added a link to a video review of this product for you to take a look at as well.

  • Direction of Fittings MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting for POL Valve
The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting for POL Valve # 103602-MBS will work for you even if your connections are on the opposite side; you will only need to flip the valve 180 degrees in order to get your connections on the proper sides.

  • Can Weber Grill Designed for Throwaway Propane Tanks be Supplied by Larger Propane Tank
Your grill will need regulated propane to function. If you ran high pressure propane it would not function properly and would most likely be dangerous. If you kept the regulator installed on the grill and ran the line to it you should be fine.

  • Quick Disconnect Kit to Run Propane Grill Off of Built-In 20 Gallon Propane Tank
For your needs you can use with the MB Sturgis quick disconnect kit # 103538-MBS or the deluxe version # 103539-MBS. The fitting will Tee in and allow you to easily connect to both an auxiliary tank and a high pressure propane appliance. I have linked a video on the Deluxe version with more information.

  • Parts Needed to Connect a RV/Motorhome To a Auxiliary Propane Tank
I recommend installing the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting # 103602-MBS on your RV tank. This will allow for you to connect a 12' Propane Hose # 37207-30685 to the POL fitting on your 250lb propane tank.

  • Solution for Supplying RV Propane Tank to Grille with Regulator Built In
The issue would be that you have two regulators feeding the grill. What you'd need is a tee installed between the RV regulator and the tank so that you can feed the grill unregulated propane. To do that you'd want the part # 103602-MBS for if you have a POL valve on your tank or part # 103612-MBS if you have a Type 1 valve.

  • How To Attach Grill To Quick Connect Port On Side Of RV
I do have an option for you but most propane grills have built-in regulators and the quick connect port on the side of the trailer is already regulated. Therefore, you'd need to use a tee to splice into the propane supply before the regulator. The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting part # 103612-MBS for trailers or part # 103602-MBS for motorhomes along with a hose like the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose part # 100284-144-MBS (confirm grill connection type) will work great.

  • Tee Fitting Needed to Connect Auxiliary 20 lb Tank to Propane System
What you need is a T-Fitting and auxiliary hose like what comes in the Kit # 103538-MBS, but your propane setup is a bit different than a normal RV so you'll need to get creative in how you're able to connect the T-Fitting. One end is a male POL connection, which will connect to your valve, while the other end has a female POL fitting. Then you have the 2 quick-disconnects and a hose that allows you to connect your 20 lb auxiliary tank. You can definitely use the T-Fitting # 103602-MBS...

  • Pigtail With Excess-Flow Valve For Connecting Auxiliary Cylinder To T-fitting
I do have an option for you but the JR Products Propane Hose part # 37207-30605 does not have an excess-flow safety device. I recommend to use the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay Propane Fill Hose part # 100019-15 instead because it features a ball bearing in the POL fitting that requires a certain amount of pressure to allow gas to flow. If there is not enough pressure for the ball bearing to press down it will not release the propane which means you have a leak somewhere. This pigtail is 15...

  • How To Use a Camco Big Red Portable Gas Campfire With the Camper's Main Propane Tanks
It sounds like you are wanting to use the Camco Big Red Portable Gas Campfire part # CAM58035 with the quick disconnect port on your trailer and if that is the case I do have another option for you but this cannot be done as there is not a low pressure conversion kit that will work with the Camco Big Red Portable Gas Campfire. I confirmed this with my contact at Camco. Instead, you will need to install a t-fitting just before the regulator on your propane tank(s), the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay...

  • Propane Tee Length - Most Compacet Tee.
There's no doubt about it, those propane Tees take up some space and create awkward connections. The MB Sturgis # 103602-MBS would be as good as any of them if those are the connection types you need. Are you adding a Tee for an outdoor grill? Do you need gas that comes after the pressure regulator? Maybe a better idea is to follow your gas line after the regulator. Most likely there is a hose after the regulator that runs to 1/2" iron NPT pipe that then runs under the coach and goes...
