Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products Propane T-fitting for small appliances. Basically what this is going to do, it's going to allow you to connect a small appliance like a portable grill or heater to your RV's propane system so that you can power up that small appliance while still having it connected to your RV propane system, so your interior gas powered appliances will still be able to function. So we've got several different connections here. Our big one is a male POL fitting. This is what's going to thread into the nozzle or the valve of your propane cylinder.
It's got the nice big hand wheel there, so we can easily get it tightened by hand. We're not going to need any special tools or anything like that. It does have the O ring on it to help ensure a nice tight seal. So we're not getting any gas leaks. Keep in mind like your current cylinder, this does thread in to the left, counterclockwise, and then loosens clockwise.
So it's a little bit counterintuitive to those of us who know the righty tighty, lefty loosey method, but there are diagrams on the back. But you should probably already be familiar with that because the other end is a female POL sitting, so that's going to work with your current male POL fitting that's currently going into your LP gas cylinder. You'll take that out of the gas cylinder and put it into this end. You will need to thread that in. So if you don't have a plastic hand wheel, you might need to thread that on or tighten that with a tool to get that nice and secure. So that's going to re-complete our connection between our gas fitting and our regulator hose for the hose going off to our regulator. And then this fitting is our male #600 or it's sometimes called a 1"-20 or disposable cylinder port.
This is where you can connect up that portable grill or heater or whatever the appliance you're wanting to tap into your system would be. This is going to then connect to them. It does have a internal stop so that if you don't have anything hooked up, it won't let the gas flow through there. But they also include this cap to act as a second safety device to make sure that no gas is escaping and visually so that you can tell that that is not open or being used.Overall, I think this is going to be a very easy way of getting a portable grill or heater, something that you typically have to hook up to a small propane tank. It's going to allow you to get it installed into your system so that you can easily get that going when you're out camping.
If you want to hook up your grill to cook some burgers or something like that, you can use your RV's propane system to power up that grill. That's going to complete our look at the JR Products Propane T-fitting.

service was quick & delivered on time............THANK YOU
Order processed immediately and shipped expeditiously! Thank you!
What a great device to Y-split the line on our Coleman popup trailer propane connection and enable me to use our bbq or the 2-burner stove without having to disconnect and reconnect the lines.
installation was easy. I had to tighten male connection into fitting before slight leak would stop. Test great now and everything works.
This is exactly what I needed. Great time frame in receiving, as it arrived on Saturday instead of following Tuesday, so I was able to use over the weekend! The price is fantastic (even with the shipping) compared to purchasing at local stores!
My second unit in many years of hunting and fishing camps. Simple but effective design.
Nice work. Got it in time.
