Bypass Mode for Safety
This Type 1 connector will go into bypass mode if the flow rate surpasses the maximum flow capacity for this connector, which is 450,000 Btu per hour. A ball inside of the fitting will push an internal spring down, pressing firmly against the bottom of the fitting to shut off the flow of gas.
When choosing a Type 1 connector, consider your overall propane demands and choose a connector with a flow rate that just exceeds it. That way, you won't trigger the bypass mode during normal use, but it will trigger in the event of a leak. If the bypass valve engages, stop using gas and start checking your connections for leaks.

This is my third purchase and all have been right on. I especially like the level of communication and the almost immediate replies to my e-mails. I purchased a similar propane cable from "the largest e-commerce" site two months ago to use on my camper when at home. The casing already started cracking all over. This is propane! I returned it and ordered this one from e-commerce. Made in USA and the cable is Canadian. Good product. Unfortunately, I failed to order the connector that I need to connect this to my 100 LB bottle, so I will after this review. feel comfortable ordering from them
Item is cheaply made. The brass fitting stripped the first time installing the hose. Prior to installing the hose I noticed the threads appeared to be a little on the messed up side.

Works geeat, no issues after 1 year. Great replacement for short hose that came with trailer and allows use of propane tank cover.
Great service, exactly what I needed on a timely basis.. Would use etrailer every time I need parts.. Great job!

Not that great actually! In the cold weather it gets real stiff to the point I’m afraid it’s going to crack, in the hot weather it’s to dried out I’m afraid it’s going to crack. Of course if would’ve known I certainly would not have bought it.
I ordered the incorrect pigtail which had the wrong regulator fitting for my setup (my ignorance) so ordered a fitting adapter to covert to the correct interface and all is good.
This worked very well for me. Our on board Propane tank developed a fault but by using this pigtail connected to the same system we are now able to bypass the original system and use a small portable canister
The lp hose will allow me to use another propane tank in addition to the tanks on my trailer. The only negative is that the 1/4 " male end requires an 11 mm wrench. The hose was made in Canada.
Ive owned this for about a year, and it still works as good as when it was new. no issues whatsoever.
It was a good product, but unfortunately I didn't know the thread size and 1/4" ended up being too small. My mistake not the company's.
Hose and couplings working great. No problems and no more leaks from old hose connection.
