Quality of fittings looks good. Hose is made in Canada. Valves at both ends prevent gas from escaping under all conditions. Can be connected end-to-end to prevent dirt from entering and thread damage during storage.

Parts Needed To Use 100lb Propane Tank with 8500w Champion Generator 201175
Hey Joseph. There is not a dual tank regulator designed to work with your generator, but I can set you up with the parts needed to hook up to a single tank, and you'll have to manually move the hose from tank to tank if one runs out. You'll use (2) adapter # 204128-MBS, one for each tank, and then attach an extension hose like the 10' # 100914-120-MBS or 20' # 1000914-240-MBS between the adapter on the tank, to your shorter 6' regulator hose champion sent with your generator.

Availability of Dual Type 1 Tank Valve Extension Hose
It sounds like what you are needing is an extension hose that features a Type 1 male fitting at one end and a Type 1 female fitting at the other end. For this we have the MB Sturgis Dual Type 1 Extension # 100914-120-MBS for a 120 inch length hose or the # 100914-180-MBS for an even longer 180 inch extension. We have exactly what you need! For the 10 foot long MB Sturgis Dual Type 1 Tank Valve Extension you will use part # 100914-120-MBS. For the 15 foot long version you will use part # 100914-180-MBS. These will allow the trailer's on board propane cylinder to connect to a portable gas appliance by using the extension hose from the cylinder to the camp site where the appliance is set up.

Hose to go From 100 Propane Tank to Regulator
To go from a 100 lb propane tank to a regulator normally requires a hose like the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail Hose # 100019-36 which has a POL fitting for the tank on one side and a male inverted flare on the other. This hose is 3 foot long. For something longer we have the part # 37207-30685 which is 12 feet long.

The # 100914-120-MBS is designed to fit on propane tanks with Type 1 fittings, but typically ASME 100-lbs tanks have POL fittings; this customer might have needed an adapter because they didn't have the correct hose to begin with.
