I am planning on getting the 24x40 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs # e99050 but would like a recommendation on the best cargo bag for this carrier please?

I can definitely help you out with a cargo bag to use with the nifty 24 x 40 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper # e99050.

The best option for this is going to be the etrailer Cargo Bag with Mounting Straps # e98990.

There are a number of reasons why I really like this bag, starting with its size. It is 40 inches wide and 20 inches deep so it is going to be a perfectly snug fit with the 40 inch wide x 24 inch deep cargo carrier. Other bags that are wider won't allow you to fully utilize the size of the bag so you'd be paying more for space that you can't use, which isn't the case with the etrailer bag.

It is also made of PVC-coated nylon, which means it is extremely durable and able to withstand rugged use, as well as keep your gear dry. The only other thing I recommend in order to keep the bag's contents secure is to lock the zippers with the Master Lock Padlock # 131D.
