Video Transcript for Review of Titan Chain Lashing Winch - Tightening Bar - TCLRWBS-C

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this Titan Chain Chrome Winch Tightening Bar. Now this winch bar is required in tightening and releasing the tie-down winch that will be on your flat bed trucker trailer. It is designed to work with the tie-down winch, part number TCLR850. And just to show you what we're talking about, there's a picture of the winch and then the bar being used to tighten it or loosen it and it will work on most standard tie-down winches. Now the tapered end right here, this is gonna insert into the end cap of the flatbed truck and trailer winch for easy ratcheting of the strap.

And this is a nice durable steel construction. Has a nice narrowed handle on it. And just to show you what we're talking about, if I zoom in, you can see right here where you might grip it. It's all narrowed there. And then down at the very end of the handle, you'll see it's also narrowed there where you can grip it.

It does have a nice chrome finished to resist corrosion. Few dimensions on this, the overall length from one end to the very other end is about 31 and 3/4 inches long. The diameter right here is about one and 3/8ths inches. Now on the very end, again, if we zoom in, and just to show, you can see it has a tapered end that'll stick into your tie-down winch. You can see the tapered end diameter goes from about one inch right here down to about 3/4 of an inch diameter right here.

You can see it has a little bit of an angle on it, so when you insert it, it'll help you pull down or loosen up on that winch. Weight on this is just a little over five pounds.
