Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this multi-purpose access door white color. So folks, this multi-purpose access door here is gonna be great for securing cargo compartments or accessing control panels, wiring on your boat or RV, that kind of stuff. It is built with what they call anti-aging and UV resistant materials, so the hatch is gonna be built to last. It should not fade on you, crack, that kind of stuff. It is very, very robust, it's very thick and heavy.
To simply unlock or unlatch the latches here and then the access door can then open, so very nice heavy duty door. It's got a nice seal inside of it. Now, the nice thing is this hatch can swing 180 degrees, so it can do a full 180 to give you plenty of room to then reach inside, get your gear and all that kind of stuff. Now the latches in the front, they are both recessed back inside independently of each other of the panel itself, so that'll help not get one resistance while you're driving that kind of stuff as well. Like I said, it has a nice rubber seal that's gonna keep everything inside dry.
It's gonna seal up really nice and you've got a nice flange here and everything for mounting it. Now folks, as far as some dimensions on this, the hatch collar depth is about one inch deep and then the visible depth, so when this is all installed, whenever you have everything there, you're only gonna see about five eighths of an inch sticking out overall of everything here. Now, externally tall, I've got 17 and a quarter inches tall by 12 and three eighth inches wide. The cutout on the backside here, lemme open the door so we can see just the cutout a little better. The cutout itself is 14 and a quarter inches tall by nine and 11 sixteenths wide.
Inside on the opening, it's, it's nine and one eighth by 14. Now, the nine holes here all the way around whether you go here to here, here to here, side to side, side to side, all of them are exactly four and 11 sixteenth inches on center. Folks again, a nice, very, very heavy duty, robust entry hatch. This is a four year limited warranty by the manufacturer. That's gonna wrap it up for our look today, folks.

Anti-aging and UV-resistant material ensure this hatch is built to last.This is exactly what I was looking for as part of my camper remodel. These doors are sturdy and they seal very well. I didn't want another key to get into a storage area of my camper. These latches are great and you can change the direction they close in so all the latches on both doors go in the same direction.
Don't for get to buy some sealant for when you install them.
The shipping and processing was great and the quality of the access door is really nice. However the door will not work for my application. The 9-5/8 wide door has an opening that is only 6-1/2 wide and I need 7 inches. I’ll keep this door and use it for a different application, it will cost to much to return it.
