Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Erickson Sliding and Lashing Winch for flatbed trucks or trailers as a 15,000 pound capacity. Now this sliding winch is for flatbed trucks and trailers that have the C channel track that's installed on the truck or trailer sidewalls. Basically this portion right here is what'll install into that C channel track and then it'll slide along the side rails into the position you need it at. And it's held in place when the straps are tightened down. Your strap would install right in here and it's tightened down by just turning this.

Now this also can be welded directly to the frame by itself if needed also. And this is designed to work with winch straps that are up to four inches wide. Winch straps we do sell separately. And if you'll notice on this end, it has the section with the holes in it. That's where the winch tightening bar would go down to tighten down the strap.

Now the winch tightening bar is sold separately. The capacity again on this is 15,000 pounds. A few measurements on this. The overall dimensions, in other words, the width from this end to this end is right at 7-1/2" wide. The depth from the front to the very back, six inches deep.

Just the bracket is about five and a half inches wide. And then the important measurement is the height of this part right here. This is what'll fit into the C channel. This right here is four inches tall.
