Today we're going to review part number E52809. This the Erickson sliding 15,000 truck and trailer winch. This winch is designed to be used on trailers that'll have the C-channel winch track. If it wouldn't have that it allows this winch to, see these cutouts right here Slides right into the track on the C-channels and it allows this winch to slide back and forth. Basically it could be mounted this way or even this way with the track underneath the trailer. Capacity on this winch is 15,000 pounds.

It is designed to hold straps up to 4" wide. The stratps we do sell separately on our website and they are listed on this product page as a related product. We also offer the winch tightening bar. Got one here, I pulled one just to give you an idea. This is used to use leverage, you put it into the winch itself and with the long bar you can use leverage to tighten down your straps.

This winch tightening bar is part number E02803 and again it is sold separately on our website and it is also listed on the product page as a related product. I do want to give you a few measurements on this. The overall height is going to be right at 7 1/2". The depth on it is going to be right at 4" and the width of just the bracket itself is going to be 5 1/2" and the overall length, end to end, is going to be right at 8". Again when this is installed basically you would just operate it and then it turns and when you stop this lever will fall into the teeth and lock it into place.
