Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

The heavy-duty winch strap feeds into a tight-end winch on your flatbed truck or trailer to help you secure heavy loads. This is for use with a fixed or sliding winch, which, those are sold separately. They're not included with this strap.Then on this end, we have the wide flat hook. This lets you anchor the strap to rails, edges, or other similar tie-down points. Now, the flat hook is made from a durable steel construction, and it features a powder coat finish on it to resist rust and corrosion.
The strap is made from a durable polyester webbing, and it meets WSTDA recommendations.Now, this strap measures 4 inches wide, and it is available in a variety of lengths, anywhere from 30 feet long to 70 feet long and five foot increments. All options are available at etrailer.com. The unit features a safe working load limit of 5,400 pounds with a maximum load or brake strength of 16,200 pounds. Taking a look at the hook right here, the overall width measuring edge to edge, that gives us a measurement of about 3 and 3/4 inches. Maybe 3 and 13/16ths of an inch right in that area.I also took a measurement of the opening right here at the widest point, and that gives us a measurement of about an inch and a quarter.
