Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Taking a look at the hook right here, the overall width measuring edge to edge, that gives us a measurement of about 3-3/4", maybe 3-13/16", right in that area. I also took a measurement of the opening right here at the widest point, and that gives us a measurement of about 1-1/4". That's just the gap we have from this point here to this point right here. Please keep in mind that tie down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit.

One of the items we were originally looking at was on order and had a little longer delivery than we desired. Amy quickly gave us an alternative that would work just as well. Will definitely consider eTrailer.com for any future needs.
