Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a sliding winch track system. Now this is a sliding winch track that is a universal track and it's able to handle any standard winch that's designed for C-Channel mounting. It's constructed of formed carbon steel for long lasting use. It's raw steel when it comes to the finishing so that way it's ready to be welded directly onto your application, and then you can prime and paint it to match your trailer if desired. Now, your trailer winch .. Once you have this installed, your trailer winch is able to move in both directions.
It can move back and forth along the track and will lock firmly in place when you apply tension to the strap. This is made in the USA. It's 72" long x 4-5/8" wide x about 1-7/8" thick. I do have a winch here that slides in the channel.Basically how this would work is the C-Channel winches have these indentions right here. That way you can take it, and slide it in, and then you can position that anywhere you want in the channel.
Then it will secure and lock into place once you apply tension to the strap. It is designed to be installed in this orientation. You want the flat surface making contact with your trailer, that way you can get a lot of surface area for your welding, and then this is designed to hang down just as shown. Again, it can slide anywhere along the 72" long track. Sliding winches are sold separately and available at etrailer.com.
That's going to do it for today's look at the steel sliding winch track.
