This low-profile winch can be bolted onto the bottom of your flatbed truck or trailer and used to secure a tie-down strap (sold separately). It can accommodate winch straps up to 4" wide, and it has a weight capacity of 5,500 lbs.

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the Titan bolt on side mount chain lashing winch for flatbed truck or trailer. It has a 5500 pound capacity. This standard winch can be used on a flatbed truck or a trailer as an anchor point for securing your straps. It is designed to work with wind straps up to four inches wide. We do sell those separately on our website, and the winch tightening bar that you would put in here to turn this, it is also required. We do sell that separately on our website.
Does use a ratchet over here on the gear side. You can see that it locks the strap into place when you tighten it, and then if you release it it'll let it free wheel just like that. This is a low-profile design, so it allows for placement in tight or difficult spaces. It is a fast, easy bolt on installation. There's no welding required.
Basically this winch face will attach to the outside of your truck or trailer frame with these two included set screws.This is a nice powder coated steel. It is corrosion resistant. This does meet or exceed the DOT requirements and the WSTDA specifications. A few specs on this again, the capacity is 5500 pounds. The mangle diameter, which is this part right here that the strap goes around, is 1 15/16 of an inch diameter.
The winch bar opening, which are these holes here that your winch bar will go into, is 15/16 of an inch. And the mounting bracket, this part right up here, the width on that is gonna be right at four inches, and about . the depth on it is about 1 7/8 inches, and the distance between the two mounting bolts is two inches center to center, and the opening, the channel opening, is gonna be right at 5/8 of an inch. Overall dimension on this is gonna be about eight inches wide, about 4 1/2 inches tall, and about 4 1/2 inches long.That should do it for the review on the Titan bolt on side mount chain lashing winch for flatbed truck or trailer at a 5500 pound weight capacity.

This product exceeded my expectations! I was expecting a faulty online version of this product. NOT THE CASE! These are the real deal. Now as for the packaging…… Needs some TLC but I didn’t buy a fine piece of jewelry. The price and quality for this product is and will be unmatched! (5 stars deserved) * Here’s a 6th!

This has the same mounting bracket as the Titan Chain Lashing Winch # TCLR965 you found. The Buyers winch has 2-1/2" of space between the frame and the spool for the strap. This will allow you to wrap up a Kinedyne Tie-Down Strap # 4821XW-27F and leave it rolled up on the winch.
