Today, we'll be taking a quick look at the Stretch Net for the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number Y07072. As you can see here, we already got out Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Binstalled and loaded up with our gear. I'm going to go ahead and use the Yakima Stretch Net to secure all of our cargo. Basically, I'm just going to drape the net over our cargo just to double-check and make sure that none of the hooks are tangled up on the inside of the net. You can see here, the hooks around the outer edge of the net are made of an injection-molded nylon. They're really strong, really durable. They have two-sized hooks.
Those hooks are designed especially to ft this rooftop cargo basket. You can see the larger opening is for the side hooks here. It basically snap right in there. Even when it's loose and there's no pressure, the hooks aren't going to fall off, which is pretty convenient. When you flip it over, you have the smaller hook or the smaller loop here.
That's for the bottom bars or the side bars. Basically, just depending on what kind of stuff you got loaded up in your basket, this hook can be basically placed anywhere along the basket. You can see the net is really stretchable. On the inside or the core of this bungee basically is latex rubber construction. Then the outer shell of it is made of nylon, so really strong, really durable. The stretch of it is really strong, too.
When you're going around your gear, it's actually going to make sure it's really nice and snug. Nothing falls out when you're going on the highway. I'm going to start with the front set of hooks and just get all those in place. Another neat feature or it acts as a double feature of these hooks is, along with they having two separate loops to being able to accommodate the two different-sized bars, they also act as a handle. When you're pulling the net over, basically just snap it up over the bar. With other typical hooks where it's just a single, you got to put your finger in here and wrap it and then hurry up remove your finger out of the way for you to get it in place or these act as like a handle so you can easily just pop them off, easily pop them on.
We'll just get this front set all installed here. Now you can see that the gear that we have loaded up in our basket, we do just have the LoadWarrior basket. This net does also work with the Yakima LoadWarrior extension piece as well. Now you can see the Yakima Stretch Net will cover just about the whole entire basket, providing a really nice, strong and secure hold for all of our gear. Now that we've got all of our gears secured, we'll go and take it out on the road to show you how it performs. That will complete today's review of the Stretch Net for the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number Y07072. .
