Hi, I would like to replace our trailer winch for one that can hold the entire strap rolled-up. The current one does not have enough clearance. Do you have something with similar mount but that can actually hold the entire winch strap rolled up on it?

Expert Reply:
I recommend the Buyers Products 4" Standard Bolt-On Trailer Winch # 3371903020 for your trailer. This has the same mounting bracket as the Titan Chain Lashing Winch # TCLR965 you found. The Buyers winch has 2-1/2" of space between the frame and the spool for the strap. This will allow you to wrap up a Kinedyne Tie-Down Strap # 4821XW-27F and leave it rolled up on the winch.
