Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a Brophy adjustable panel hook mounting plate with the included two-inch hitch shank. Now folks, this gives you a max of seven inches of drop. It's rated at 10,000 pounds capacity. Now, this is easy to adjust. You just simply pull the retaining pins outta here and then slide the pintle hitch head mount there up and down.
You're gonna get five different positions of height. First thing you wanna do is mount your pintle hitch on the front. Now, center to center, those bolt holes are three and three-eighth inches horizontally. And then vertically, you're gonna have one and three-quarter inches center to center. So you got your pintle hook hitch, mount it, pull the safety pins out, then pull these larger pins out.
And then from here, you just raise it up or down to whatever height you need or whatever drop you need, and you simply push those retaining pins back into the larger pins and then you're set on your way. Now from there, obviously you would need a hitch pin. That's your standard five-eighth inch hitch pin hole. Overall, on length, very, very front to the very, very back, I got 13 and three-quarter inches long, and then I got 12 and three-quarter inches on a height all the way up to this top part. And then center of the hitch pin hole back here to the center of these holes that are adjustable, I got right at nine inches on center.
From the gusset here where it's welded onto the shank all the way to the back, I got five and three-quarter inches. And then from center of the hitch pin hole to where the gusset welds on, I got right at two and three-quarter inches. So again, a max drop of seven inches, max capacity of 10,000 pounds. This is a nice sturdy build. It's got a corrosion resistant, black powder coat finish over everything.
This is the Brophy adjustable pin hook mounting plate for two-inch hitches. Folks, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for your time. As always, stay safe while you're towing.
