What Does etrailer Hitch for 2025 Acura RDX Look Like Installed

Question:

Hello, I have a 2025 Acura RDX ASPEC/Advance. The car doesnt have a spare tire. Would this hitchs tube hide under the bumper? I am interested in the hitch, but I am concerned it would stick out too much beyond the bumper. Also, I assume once installed, it will kill my kick foot action feature to open the rear hatch, correct? Thanks for your feedback.

Hey JC, when installed the crosstube of the etrailer hitch part # e72AR that you referenced would be visible. I attached a picture to show you what I mean. It's only hitch we have for your RDX but I won't lie to you and say it's super hidden as it's one of the more easy to see options we make which is odd for a newer vehicle like what you have. You should still be able to activate the hands free liftgate by kicking to the side of the hitch. Are you planning on doing any towing?

I owned a 2022 Acura RDX Aspec Advance and same thing i was looking for a hitch that would hide under bumper but unfortunately,it’s not available on aftermarket ones,maybe from Acura but it will cost you $$$,i only use it for bike carrier and hitch basket anyway so i tried the Etrailer brand Class III with 2 inch opening in Matte finished,i loved it,it wasn’t that bad looking at all,i’m used to it now.
