I sure can Laurie! To install a hitch on your 2024 Acura RDX, I recommend our etrailer item # e72AR. This is a custom fit class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 350 lbs tongue weight and a 3,500 lbs towing capacity so it's going to work great with your Yakima 4-bike bike rack.

Please note that all of the hitches for your 2024 Acura RDX will only work with the 18" compact spare or the factory supplied temporary spare on 17" wheel. These wheels and tires are 28.5" to 29" in diameter. If your spare is larger then you will need to store it in your rear cargo area after installing a hitch or get a smaller spare.

Hi Laurie, I had a 2019 ACURA RDX and installed this hitch on it myself. It was very easy to do. I didn’t do any wiring as I wasn’t going to tow anything with my RDX. Iwas going to carry my wife’s mobility scooter. I have a carrier with a ramp and carrying the scooter was very easy and secure. I recently traded in my 2019 RDX and purchased a 2025 RDX. I negotiated with the dealer for them to install a hitch on my new car. I tried to have them just remove the hitch from my 2019 and install it on my 2025, but they couldn’t do that for liability issues. The new Acura Installed hitch has a 1 1/2” receiver hole, so I had to buy an adapter so that I can use my 2” lift. But it works. Not as clean as the e trailer 2” hitch.
