Does Spare Tire Stay on 2024 Acura RDX When Installing etrailer Trailer Hitch

Do you loose the foot sensor and the spare tire with the e72AR with my Acura RDX 2024? Thank you, Diane

Hi Diane; thanks for the question and if the spare tire is larger than 18 inches it will not be able to be stored under your 2024 Acura RDX when installing any hitch, including the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e72AR.

The foot sensor is not removed, however; that will stay on your vehicle.

Thank you for your response. I meant will the foot sensor still be operational if we put the hitch on.

@DianeC Gotcha; and the answer is yes, the foot sensor will still be operational, you'll just have to kick your foot to the side of the receiver as opposed to the exact center.
