Easily attach a variety of accessories to the front of your vehicle with this fully welded, corrosion-resistant trailer hitch receiver. Perfect for winches, spare tire carriers and more.

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Receiver hitch has worked flawlessly. Use it for my cargo basket and Added a bike.
Fast shipping, good quality and very easy to install. Total time was 30 minutes. Bike rake sits in receiver has very title movement.

This has been a great addition to are travel set up. Bikes travel well
This hitch was easy to install. It came with all the needed hardware. It works perfect for my needs. I've used it for a bike rack and a cargo rack.
i bought this hitch to put a motorcycle platform on the front of our RAM 3500 gas engine truck. The hitch is well made but it is about 1/2" too short to fit snuggly between the frame rails and would need a lot of spacers on each side, which in my mind reduce strength. I ended up welding plates on the outboard side of both end plates to take up the gap.
When I put weight on the hitch, even with this mod, the hitch pivoted downward at the front end because the bolt holes on the hitch are slotted and it is only side plate friction that would keep it from pivoting. So I modded it again to include an upward facing mount, rather than just sideward as designed, to allow me to control and even adjust the angle of the hitch to the centerline of the truck. In short, it no longer pivots downward.
Additionally I added two more 2" tubes to the hitch and I added two more tubes to the platform also so that the platform won't wobble at all. Between the hitch mods and platform mods I have a good setup. It was fun to do but it was a lot of work.
My recommendation would be that the hitch manufacturer resize the length of the hitch so it fits tightly between the frame rails and make the forward holes on the side plates horizontal slots vs vertical slots so the hitch won't sag under weight.
I'm very happy with etrailer.com but think drawtite should improve their hitch design in this instance.
Perfect fit for my 2024 RAM 2500.
Be sure to have the right sockets for the work and having an impact drill/wrench will save your muscles. Even a $25 electric impact power tool from Harbor Freight does the job. Breaker bar is ok, but you need the impact to help loosen those bolts holding the "crash bracket" to the frame (2-bolts each side).
Installation itself was easy. I did it by myself in maybe 1-hr, having all the tools lined up in advance. Have all the cutouts done beforehand. When backing out the old bolts, keep one on each end to help the 'crash brackets' keep in place and not drop. I did end up using the provided washers as shims in between front tow hitch mount location and the "crash brackets" (as per instruction). Just make sure you use a dowel or flat tip screw driver so that the washers don't slip or drop down.
Tighten to specs and blue loctite the threads and you should be GTG.
I did notice a little 'pointing downward' of the hitch but realized that the back end of my truck is higher than the front end, so when weight is added to the back, it 'should' level out. Not an issue if using front hitch for winch or additional tow shackle but if you have something extending out further (cargo carrier or bike rack) please take note. If your truck is lifted 2" or more, should be non-issue.
Would definately buy again and recommend to others with a 2024 RAM 2500 Tradesman.

Thanks for sharing all of your tips and feedback on the install, John. Pointing out the angle of the hitch make sense when you explain it and I agree, that would be something to keep in mind if your going to put some sort of rack on the front.
The receiver hitch fit perfectly. I recommend leaving the OEM bolts in so when you are fitting the hitch to the frame they can hold it in place. Then push the supplied bolts thru and forces the OEM bolts out. The directions show the new bolts go in the opposite direction as the OEM bolts. Additionally, used a magnet on a stick to hold the spacer washers while you are feeding the new bolts in place. I did this while the truck was parked in the driveway and on the ground. I didn't have a floor jack (highly recommend using one) so I just used 2x6 pieces of lumber and my mechanics creeper to set it in place. It took me longer than the 40 minutes to install it, but I'm a senior citizen and was working by myself.
Universal design is too universal. My guess is this unit is made to work on all vehicles and you just change the bolt pattern. My truck has over 1/4 inch slop side to side between frame rails.

This specific hitch is a custom fit hitch, not necessarily a universal design. Although with drilling really anything can be. Depending on what vehicle you were wanting to put this on could effect how it installs. What vehicle did you want to mount this to?

Easier to install than one used before that required removal of tow hooks, but didn’t like having to cut out molding to allow the receiver.
I had reviewed the installation instructions online and had removed the bolts and trimmed the fascia before the hitch arrived. I used giant heavy duty zip tie to tie one side up close to mounting point and the raised and maneuvered hitch into place. Then installed the bolts. Did this by myself. Hand tightened bolts, then used jack on receiver to get it to sit as high as possible and then tightened the bolts. Installed my Young Electric Mate R bicycle rack on it. Works perfectly!
This was my third truck on which I installed a front receiver. It went well, as always (no blood spilled!), but on the very slightly down side:
1. I hate putting your 4 spacer washers in place. Always have.... Y'all could tack those on at the factory, maybe?
2. Figure out how to provide a little more room to swing the torque wrench.
3. Shorten those 6 bolts; most of us dont have deep sockets in those sizes.
4. The 3" square cutout in the air dam was inadequate on my 2024 ram 2500 (gas) truck. 3" wide by 3.5" deep would have done it.
Work safely, y'all.
The hitch fit my 2019 Ram 2500 perfectl y.

The front hitch has worked good. I put a motorcycle rack on the front of the truck so I can pull my travel trailer.
I lucked out and didnt have to remove any bolts. Previous owner had a plow on the truck so my hitch bolted right in. Only issue is a large gap between frame and hitch. Instruction said to stack washers until flush. I dont think enough washers were in the kit to do that. I simply made shims from stock I had laying around. 1 hr install by my self. I used a floor jack to hold it in place while bolting it up.
Hitch was easy to install with two people but time consuming. It took me 2 1/2 hours. The lack of a video for my2024 Tradesmen didn't help. My tow hooks did not need to be removed.
The hitch itself seems to be well constructed but the installation allows for a pretty big gap between the hitch and the frame. It should be fine for my application of just a bike rack but I'm not sure I would use it for something heavier. Also disappointed with the location of the pin holes as they are directly in line with the trimmed fascia. I have to push or pull the fascia to get my bike rack pin in and locked.
I’m not a handy guy and I installed this alone, it’s been a great addition to my 2021 Ram 3500, We use it for a bike rack or beach basket for extra storage when im off roading.
I put a hitch on the front of my ran 2500 and can move my boats into the garage with ease great turning radius
Fits great on my 2020 2500 Ram. Love it . The spare tire housing holds my train horn. The front hitch will hold my spare!
Great product and easy install. Ram 2500. No drilling for my truck, 6.4L gas engine. In case the diesel is different. Just cut the wind guard with a hacksaw. It’s a little awkward lifting it into place laying under the truck but doable. 2 hours total.
Fast shipping, well built heavy duty hitch, easy install
We received the front mount trailer hitch in perfect condition with very fast shipping. The mount is very high quality, very sturdy, and came with excellent instructions for mounting to our truck. We are very pleased with this item and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a front mount hitch.

We bought our cover over a year ago for our new trailer. It has been fabulous. The optional door access is essential. I didnt realize how frequently we would use it throughout the winter.
Installation wasn't too bad. HOWEVER you need to take the front airdam off (which was not specified in the directions) to be able to get this on. Then make the trim cuts to the airdam and reinstall.
So far, so good with my MotoTote.
Will not fit in my truck because it's a diesel

Hi Ron, I can help with getting you situated with the right hitch for your diesel and getting the wrong one returned. One compatible option for your 2021 Ram 2500 diesel truck is the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount, part # EH37FR. Please watch your email for a returned label as well.
Doesn’t line up level with truck it has a downward angle. Loosened up bolts again put a bottle jack under front of hitch raised front up some but still not level

I wanted to see if you could send a picture of how the hitch angle is on the truck. I reached out to the manufacturer and they have not had this reported in.
Hitch receiver is too short and too low; currently trying to find a robust extender without much luck so thus far it's not been used unfortunately. I've been putting front mount receiver in every car I have and this is the first time I'm regretting it
Install was easy and straightforward. Only thing I didn't like is mine leans towards the ground and not level so I had to use a riser so my basket that I use to haul my generator wouldn't hit the ground going in and out of some drives with dips.
