What do I need to use my Falcon 2 Tow Bar with another vehicle?

I towed a 1999 geo metro with a falcon 2. I have the bar that the falcon 2 hooks to. Want to tow a 2009 Honda fit. Is the base plate all I need?

Kelly you're spot on, thanks for reaching out!

Since you mentioned you have “the bar that the Falcon 2 hooks to” that tells me your current setup on the Geo Metro is using a Roadmaster crossbar-style base plate.

I checked fitment for both vehicles and the good news is your 2009 Honda Fit uses the same crossbar-style connection that are on Roadmaster base plate kit # 521190-1.

That means your Falcon 2 tow bar will connect the same way it did on your Geo Metro, so no change in hookup style.

What are you using to tow the Honda Fit?

I attached pictures that show how the Curt front hitch #C31078 and the Draw Tite #65076 looks when installed and you can tell that the Draw Tite sits up a bit higher since it comes through relative to the curve in the air dam.
