Question:
Have an 85 Chevy k10. Confused on installation. Receiver hitches direct bolt on or do you have to drill installation holes? Is there a video on this as well? Thank you Gregg

Thanks for reaching out, Gregg.
I can completely understand wanting to confirm the install details beforehand. Older trucks can definitely take a little more digging than the newer ones.
I noticed you were looking at the EcoHitch Front Mount Hitch # EH58RR. That hitch is designed for newer Chevy trucks, so it would not fit your 1985 Chevy C/K pickup.
I also saw that you were looking at the Curt rear hitches # 13028 and # C14082. Both of those are confirmed fits for your truck as long as you have the standard step bumper. Your frame will need to measure 34" wide from outside to outside, and you will need to drill the frame for all six mounting bolts during installation.
Unfortunately, we don't currently have an installation video for any of the hitches mentioned above.
My main question for you would be are you looking for a rear hitch or a front mounted hitch?

The shop did have to drill out two holes maybe but i also had it welded to the frame for additional support. The quality of the hitch is great and i will only buy from this company.

Rear class 4 hitch fit my 70 Chev K10 very well , only had to drill 2 holes, the others matched up. Am very satisfied with it.
