Features to know about

Get More Out of Every Trip: Class III Strength in a 2" Receiver

This hitch gives you the flexibility to bring more with you wherever you go. With a 3,500-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 350-lb tongue weight, you can tow small trailers or mount a cargo carrier without worry. When used with weight distribution, those limits increase to 4,000 lbs GTW and 400 lbs TW, giving you an extra margin for stability. The 2" x 2" receiver opening works with most standard bike racks, ball mounts, and cargo accessories so your gear can swap in and out easily.

Built to Handle Real-World Loads: Fully Welded Steel Construction

This hitch is built from sturdy, powder-coated steel that resists corrosion and stands up to road wear. The precision, robotic welds keep everything aligned and strong under load, so you can count on it every time you hook up a trailer or rack. The round-tube design keeps things solid without adding unnecessary bulk.

Simple Bolt-On Setup: No Welding Required

Installation doesn’t need to be complicated or require special tools. This hitch bolts directly to the vehicle’s frame using the included hardware kit—no welding or cutting needed. It’s designed for a clean fit that lines up with existing mounting points for fast alignment and solid support right out of the box.

Clean Look That Doesn’t Stand Out: Gloss Black Finish with Hidden Cross Tube

For those who want strength without sacrificing appearance, this hitch keeps a tidy profile with its visible cross tube and gloss black powder coat finish. It blends well under the rear bumper instead of dominating it, giving your setup a factory-finished look while also protecting against rust and road debris.

It was easier to install then we antisapated...we installed the hitch within the 30 min. as per the instructions.
The most difficult part was re-securing the muffler after we had dropped it for the hitch installation. My brother in law recommend your site. I have recommend it to my friends.

Vehicle= 2013 Toyota Venza. Fit and finish= 2nd to none! Ease of install= 5 stars as in anybody could do this job. Wiring kit= excellent wuality & fit. Shipping was faster than expected!
Overall, I would deal with this company again and again! Far nicer looking product than Reese or Drawtite (all rights reserved and with due respect). The Curt looks as if it came factory installed

Used hitch to move from OH to ME. 1,400 miles with a 3,000 lb Uhaul trailer! And it has come in handy for utility trailers because I dont have a truck. I like that the harness stays inside near the spare tire until needed because it doesnt get all full of dirt and that annoying green corrosion that blows fuses. I still like it alot. I also like the way it looks. It fits up inside the bumper so its mostly hidden, and it looks like a factory installed hitch.

by:

Fabulous looking hitch that was installed by my mechanic with no issues.

by:

Made in the USA. Heavy, solid, in great shape when received and packed well. Went on without a hitch (Never heard that one before?). Worse part was putting up driver side muffler bracket but that is merely access to the area. Helpful hint was I got the hitch above the muffler pipes and tied up the Driver side as far as I could since it was a little heavy for this 72 year old to hold in place. Had small floor jack under center of hitch and lifted the unit into place high enough to get [assenger bolts started. Finished on Driver side. My 4th etrailer hitch. Will buy nowhere else. Great service.

Great. No surprises. Hindsight I should have looked more at the video cause I mounted the box in the wrong place on my Venza but it is working fine so.. All good. Finish still looks like new.

by:

There were a few scratches on the hitch, but nothing major. It's going under the car. It's going to have more stuff to deal with now.

The instructions and video were very helpful.
I also didn't drop the exhaust. It took 2 people to install. Most people don't have a hoist. What I did was use my two hydraulic jacks to lift the rear end a few more inches to make it easier to move the hitch into place and get the bolts in. That's the easy part. The hardest part was trying to torque the bolts on the driver side of the hitch. The exhaust pipes are almost directly in the way.

It did take me 1hr to install. A good portion of my time was spent looking for an extender and a deep 14mm socket and my swivel adapter. If you aren't going to drop the exhaust. You'll need one to get to the bolts on the one side. But I was able to torque them all down.

Its been terrific! I use it primarily to attach my Yakima bike tray. But Ive hauled reno material in a trailer. The hitch is indispensable.

by:

This is my 2nd trailer hitch from e-Trailer. I have a small trailer I use to haul brush, furniture & my recumbent bike. I was very pleased with my first hitch, but after getting a new car, I needed another hitch. The quality products and video instructions make it straight forward to install. My kit required a wire to run from the back of the vehicle to the battery in front. The video outlined the best path to route the wire to avoid hot parts or areas where the wire could be damaged. The connection at the battery included a fuse to prevent a electrical fire if somehow the wire got damaged, like in an accident. When I ordered the 2nd hitch, I received an email letting me know the hitch I selected was no longer available within 3 hours of my order. They suggested another hitch to fit my vehicle. Whenever the need for another hitch arises I know the only place I will go, etrailer.

The hitch is still working marvelously.

by:

Everything was as stated, ease of install, quality parts, customer service. Shipped and received fast(I'm local)

by:

Great product! Easy install, but depending what vehicle it is, some of the bolts are a little difficult to get to with a wrench! Excellent customer service by Etrailer!

by:

The installation went perfectly and it was easy. All necessary parts were high quality and the finish on the reciever itself was excellent.

Very Happy with everything about the product....... :<)

by:

The hitch arrived really fast and it was an even faster install. Instructions were clear and helpful. Got everything installed in about 40 minutes. Excited to use it with the bike I just got. Thanks etrailer!

by:

Install was incredibly easy. Did it in one afternoon in the driveway and been putting it to use ever since! Highly recommend.

by:

Flawless install!

by:

Much beefer hitch than it looked online. Will use for more than swagman bike rack.had it installed locally. I felt that I could install myself but my wife said at 70 yr old better not try it lol .installed for $50 in 45 min. Thanks for ur help . We are set to have fun on our bikes

by:

Simple to install. The shipment was complete. Make sure to have extenders when securing sway bar, gas tank and this hitch. Hitch rusts fast! Bought a rust preventative primer and paint.

by:

Great hitch at a good price. Holding up well. My 3rd hitch from etrailer. Installation fairly straight forward. Some basic skills required, certainly doable for most.

by:

Great second purchase, and easy to install...fast delivery, great communication. I called with questions, very helpful and friendly. I bought the Curt trailer hitch, and i made custom bike rack. Thanks again! Chuck

by:

Installation was reasonably easy, start to finish in about an hour. Bolting exhaust back was a little tricky as the hitch is in the way on drivers side. A knuckle socket on end of extension did the trick. raising muffler with a four wheel floor jack helped

by:

Great customer service, thanks!

by:

It fit well in my 2014: Venza. Heavy du ty

by:

Roger, No it did not rub on the bottom of the Venza bumper body. I only used the parts they sent to use.

by:

It fit and was easy to install. And I have used it many time and it works well. I am very satisfied. The wiring harness was a relatively straight forward installation and that also works well. Like the idea that the connection is not hanging out in the weather. The trailer lights have never failed to work the first time. No fussing with the connection.

by:

Etrailer delivered again! The hitch fits well, a little harder to mount on my V6 Venza due to the exhaust pipe on the left. Looks good!

For your 2015 Toyota Venza the hitch I recommend for you is the Curt # 13356, which is a very popular hitch for your vehicle and our customers who use it have given it a nearly unanimous 5-star review. This is a 2" hitch with a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs and a tongue weight of 350 lbs so you will have no problems using any type of bike rack. I've added a photo of a customer who is using it with a 4-bike Thule rack so you can see how your set up might work. The wiring harness you'll want...

Between the Curt # 13356 and the Draw-Tite # 75663 Class III trailer hitches for your 2015 Toyota Venza I recommend the Curt # 13356 because of its superior black powder coat finish. This finish tends to last much longer than those from other manufacturers to help extend the overall lifespan on the hitch and resist rust/corrosion. As you probably realized when looking at the two hitches, these units are otherwise pretty much identical. They are going to line right up to existing holes...

You will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper of your vehicle.
