For your 2013 Toyota Venza I recommend Curt Class III trailer hitch # 13356. My father-in-law also has a 2013 Venza and this is the hitch we put on his car. I have linked a video showing that installation for you.
The hitch has help up quite well over the years and they have been very happy with it. They also use it for carrying bikes.
For a compatible bike rack that will work with mountain bikes I recommend the Kuat Transfer # KU74FR. This rack holds the bikes at the wheels. It tilts down and folds up. The U-shaped design makes it easier to load the front bike compared to other racks. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
