Hi etrailer, I have a 2027 Jeep Wrangler that I want to flat tow behind our motorhome. I'm looking at the Curt base plate and would like to use the Curt tow bar with it. Can you give me a complete list of everything I need?

Hey Nathan, congratulations on the new Wrangler! I can definitely help you get everything together. For a complete flat tow setup on your 2027 Jeep Wrangler I recommend the following:

-Curt Custom Base Plate Kit # C68FR

-Curt Rambler Non-Binding Tow Bar # C25DQ (includes safety cables)

-Curt Tow Bar Cover - Rambler # C56VV (optional)

-Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-15267 (if you DO NOT have ParkSense)

Or

-Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit # RM63MR (if you DO have ParkSense)

-Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25

-Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System # BLU37TR

The Curt Rambler is designed to work with the Curt base plate kit and features non-binding arms that make it easier to disconnect when you're parked on uneven ground. It also includes the safety cables so you won't need to add those separately.

You'll also want to measure the height of the base plate against the receiver on your motorhome once everything is installed. If they're more than 3" apart, you'll need a high-low adapter like # e52ZV to keep the tow bar level. I attached a help article further down on this page which explains how to measure.

It looks like my hitch height is 22" can you tell me what adapter I'm going to need?

@NathanB I sure can. The bracket height on the # C68FR is 18" so you can use the adjustable # e52ZV from my original answer or pick up the dedicated 4" rise/drop # e25ZV. The adjustable is nice if you trade your motorhome or vehicle in the future for flexibility. If your motorhome is new/newer like the Wrangler, the fixed height is probably the better option and will save you some money.
