Im looking to get my 2022 Ford Maverick setup to flat tow. I have the following in my cart. Anything Im missing, or is there anything here I dont need? Hey Shane, thanks for doing my job! I looked over your list of parts and you have everything you need. You did your homework well and that's a great flat towing setup for your 2022 Ford Maverick. I found a bunch of installation videos we did on those parts and linked them below along with the instructions.

What kind of motorhome are you using and is this your first time flat towing? The only thing I didn't see is a high/low adapter like item # e25ZV. You would need to use one of these if your motorhome's hitch and the tow bar weren't level with each other. You don't want the tow bar pointed up or down at an angle.

Thank you! I intentionally chose the etrailer tow bar as I hoped it would accommodate for any discrepancy in height. I have a Class A Winnebago Vista (gasser) 33'. This is not our first time flat-towing - upgrading from a 2014 Honda CRV. To clarify - the Maverick is a hybrid. Thanks again.

@ShaneH @jerredH So, for those of us Type A folks that follow the videos to the letter, the installation video for the Roadmaster Brake Relay kit for the Maverick should be updated. In the video, there is not a discussion or video of him putting both sides of the (relay box?)(black box) together. Now, I could tell my unit was a return - it was taped up, so I'm not sure if it normally comes with the box together. However, since there was no comment on putting both boxes together in the video, I didn't do that on initial install. Truck wouldn't go in to gear, but the lights worked. This morning, before we were going to call AAA to take it to the Ford dealership to figure out what I screwed up or have it fixed back to stock brake wiring, I finally figured out that in the video you can see the box is put together even though he doesn't show doing that. Once I did that, everything worked as it should! So...20hrs later...I'm all setup. Just need a good rock guard - see other question.

I got the brake system working - will explain later and give a suggestion on your install video. Otherwise - is there a rock guard system that will work with the above setup?
