Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with each trailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Taylor Made guest strut for your boat hatches. This strut is going to replace a worn out or damaged strut on your boat's hatch. It is going to make it easier for you to extend your hatch lid and it will help to make that closing process a little bit more controlled so you're not having to worry about your hatch slamming down. It's going to gently compress to make sure that that is a nice smooth process for you. This does have the ball and socket installation so it's going to fit onto your 10 millimeter ball studs. This is right at 20 inches from our ball socket to our ball socket and it does have 80 pounds of compression force so it is going to be nice and strong for you.
It's made of a heat treated steel, so it's going to be very durable. It also has a corrosion resistant coating, which will help it not rust even in your saltwater environment so it's going to be great for your boats no matter if you're on the lake or out on the ocean. This does just come with the one strut so if you we're to need a second, you could always just order two of the same part number and it should work really well for you.And that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
