These eye straps provide attachment points for your bimini top straps. Install onto your boat's gunwale or sidewall, then clip your tie-down straps (not included) in place. Eye straps are 1-7/8" long with a 3/8" eye.

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.Com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made Bimini Top eye straps. These are going mount to the gun whale or a sidewall of your boat and allow you to connect your Bimini Top tie-downs to the eye straps using a dog snap. And this is an example of a dog snap. This is our one inch stainless steel dog snap.
You can find it here at etrailer.com using part number 3691340. So just to give you an example of how these work, once you have your eye straps mounted onto your boat, you can connect your Bimini Top tie-down straps to your dog snap. And then it will simply snap into place. That will hold your Bimini Top tight so that it won't blow over in high wind conditions or anything like that.Now these are made out of chromed zamak, so they're not only going to look nice, but they're also going to hold up well for you. The hardware, as you can see is included.
You're going to get the two screws to hold these down. Then there's obviously two eye straps that come in this kit. If you're interested, we also have a black nylon eye strap option available. You can find those here at etrailer using part number 36911713. It comes in a kit of four.
Just another option for you there. Our chromed option is going to have an inner diameter for the arch. That's going to sit right about 39/64 of an inch, or just under 5/8 of an inch. The inner arch height, just under 3/8 of an inch. The total height is just over 9/16 of an inch.
Your mounting holes here are going to be 3/16 of an inch. And our total length is just shy of an inch and 7/8. So I hope that helps you when deciding on if these are the right option for you. That's going to complete our look at the Taylor Made Bimini Top eye straps.
