Video Transcript for Checking Out the Taylor Made Marine Gas Strut for Boat Hatches-3691843-100

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the tailor-made Gas Strut for your boat hatches. This is going to replace a worn out or damaged strut on your boat's hatch. It's going to make it very easy to extend, open your hatch lid. It also helps to compress to make sure that your hatch is gently closing so you're not going to have to worry about it slamming shut.

This does have the ball and bracket connections so it will attach to the 10 millimeter ball studs on the inside of your boat's hatch. This is a heat treated steel construction so it's going to be very durable. It's also got a corrosion resistant coating, so it's not going to rust even if you're out in a saltwater environment. So whether you're on the lake or on the river or out at sea, this is going to do a good job and allow you to have more control over your hatch. This does have a overall length of 20 inches from our ball socket to ball socket. Right at 20 inches. Does have a compression force of 100 pounds so it's going to be very strong, be able to hold up your hatch without...

Even in very heavy winds and things. So should do a very good job for you. If you need more than just the one that's included in this, or multiple, same part number. This just comes with the one strut. But if you're needing to replace a gas strut on your boat hatch, this is going to be a great option for you.

That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
