Quick-Disconnect Hose Connection

The quick-disconnect fitting on this hose hooks up to the female Model 250 port on a Sturgi-Stay T-fitting, an adapter mounted on a propane tank, or another quick-disconnect port in your RV's propane system. The quick-disconnect port on the other end accepts the male quick-disconnect plug on your appliance. Both hook up without the need for any tools. Simply snap the quick-disconnect fitting into the port and it will stay locked in until you release it. To remove the fitting, just pull back on the collar of the port to disengage the connection.

  • Recommended Quick Connect Hose Compatible with Coleman 285 Grill
For your BBQ or Grill you will want the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose for Small Appliance - Disposable Cylinder Port - 10' # 100476-120-MBS. This is the best option we have for the fitting on that grill. We also have 4 foot hose # 100476-48-MBS and the 6 foot hose # 100476-72-MBS.

  • Correct Propane Hose for Quick Disconnect on Trailer to Outside Stove Top
Thank you for the details! The Quick Disconnect Propane Hose # 37207-31155 has a POL fitting on one end that would normally connect directly to a bigger propane tank as well as the quick-disconnect fitting you said matched up just fine with your 2021 Apex Ultra Lite 256BHS. Since that POL was too large it sounds like your outside stove top may have a 1"-20 (or disposable cylinder) port for a small 1 lb propane tank you would use for camping. This is normal for small outside stoves and...

  • Adapter to Power Grill that Normally Uses Disposable Tank for Propane Source
Since you are wanting to tap into the propane system of your RV and run an appliance off of it that normally is fed by a disposable tank your best option would be with the part # 100476-48-MBS which was designed for this.

  • Connecting Coleman Roadtrip X-Cursion Propane Grill to Trailer's Propane Tanks
I think we have what you need. The hose you looked at, part # 100476-48-MBS, has the correct connectors. It's the quick disconnect to go onto your trailer's fitting and the disposable cylinder fitting which is what your grill uses. The problem is your trailer's built in connector is already regulated and so is your grill. That's a problem because you can't go through two regulators. You won't have enough pressure to use your the Coleman. You can use that hose if you Tee into your system...

  • Can a Portable Grill with Built-In Regulator be Attached to the Quick-Disconnect on a Camper
I do have the correct fitting part # CAM59213 and hose part # 100476-48-MBS that will allow you to attach the female quick-disconnect fitting (photo 1) on your trailer to the type 1 fitting (photo 2) on your propane grill. However, the issue you are going to run into is that the female quick-disconnect fitting on your trailer is most likely ran through the regulator which means you can't then use another regulator on the actual grill because it would reduce the water column output too much....

  • How to Choose the Correct Propane Connection for Quick Connect to Outdoor Stove/Burner
Hey Karl, thanks for purchasing the Camco Quick-Connect Full Flow Plug # CAM59903! Without seeing the female connector for your propane setup, my best guess is that you're needing something more like the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100476-48-MBS which has the quick disconnect on one end as well as a 1 lb tank type of connection on the other end. If you check out the linked propane connection article you can verify if this is the correct connection for you, or even let me know what...

  • How to Install Quick Disconnect Fittings on a Ryobi 900 Watt Propane Inverter Generator
I have exactly what you need to use a quick disconnect fitting setup with your Ryobi 900 Watt Propane Inverter Generator. For this, you are going to need to use the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose part # 100476-48-MBS on the generator side and the Camco Propane Hose w/ Shut-Off Valve part # CAM57629 on the propane tank side. This is of course assuming that you are correct in that you have a 1-20" disposable cylinder port on the generator. There is also not a direct male 1-20" to...

  • Effect of Adding Propane Hose Extension to Thor RV Propane Hookup
Adding propane hose length to your outdoor RV cooking setup can cause you to lose substantial propane pressure. It really comes down to the propane level in the tank(s) and whether that is enough to overcome the additional resistance of a doubled hose length. Thor supplies a 10-foot hose as this will be short enough to deliver adequate pressure with most propane accessories. The extra 10-feet will probably not be an issue with the tanks completely full but at 1/2 capacity the tanks on...

  • Protective Cap for 1 lb Propane Tank Hose Fitting
Your BBQ grill likely has the 1 lb propane connection which means you can use the red cap from the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose # 100476-48-MBS for your application. The red caps aren't available separately otherwise I would just recommend one of those. An alternative solution would be to purchase a backup hose like part # 100555-72-MBS that has a connector from the 1 lb connector on your grill to the propane tank. Then you can just use that red cap on whichever hose you have...

  • Propane Tee Length - Most Compacet Tee.
There's no doubt about it, those propane Tees take up some space and create awkward connections. The MB Sturgis # 103602-MBS would be as good as any of them if those are the connection types you need. Are you adding a Tee for an outdoor grill? Do you need gas that comes after the pressure regulator? Maybe a better idea is to follow your gas line after the regulator. Most likely there is a hose after the regulator that runs to 1/2" iron NPT pipe that then runs under the coach and goes...
