The pop-in ball design makes setup simple — drop it in, turn the quarter-turn latch, and you’re locked in. When you’re done towing, lift the integrated lever to unlock and pull the ball out just as easily. The retention balls hold it firmly in place while towing, and the built-in ball-bearing system ensures a positive lock every time. No tools or extra parts needed for mounting or removal.
Once the ball’s out, the included rubber cover protects the gooseneck hole from dirt and debris so your bed stays clean. The safety chain hookups drop into the Power Pucks when needed and lift right out when not. It appears to be very heavily made. We are used to a BandW turnover ball, so the new style is different. Sure hope it holds!

This Curt Ball and Safety Chain Kit works perfectly for my needs. I haul a large livestock trailer often so install and removal is easy and everything feels very secure when hooked up. Was super easy install i to my factory holes in the bed. The unit goes in and out i under a couple minutes and the storage case is nice to store when not in use. Very satisfied purchase.
