What gooseneck ball do you recommend for a 2025 Ford F350 to be used with an older Andersen 5th wheel hitch? See attached photo.

Hey Mike, welcome back! I didn't receive a picture but so long as your 2025 Ford F-350 has the factory puck system, I recommend the Curt Pop-In Ball item # C60627. This gooseneck ball is going to drop right down into your center puck and provide an attachment point for all three generations of the Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel hitch.

If you're wanting to get the complete gooseneck kit with safety chain loops, you'll need the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit item # C38CR. It's got the same gooseneck ball but also comes with the safety chain loops and a nice carrying case.

Do you have a part number or know what generation your Andersen hitch is? We have the Andersen Ultimate Connection Adapter for Factory Gooseneck Hitches item # AN27VR. It only works with the 2nd or 3rd generation Andersen hitches though. This mounting point is 33% stronger according to Andersen and would be used in place of a gooseneck ball.
