Question:
I need a gooseneck ball and chain for my 2022 Silverado 2500. I have the pucks and socket for the gooseneck ball already in the bed from the factory. I'm unsure which kit to get, can you advise please?

I'd be glad to help with that.
The Curt # C60692 and # C38CR are very similar, with the difference between the two being the capacity of the gooseneck ball. The # C38CR has a ball rated at up to 38K, while the # C60692 is rated for up to 30K. Both gooseneck balls are installed and removed using the latch located atop the ball.
The B&W # BWGNXA2061 is rated for 30K and uses a different latch setup. The latch is engaged using a handle that sits lower down on the ball. Both the Curt and B&W designs work well, but I prefer the B&W because of where the latch is located. If you go to hitch up the gooseneck trailer and accidently drop the edge of the coupler on the ball, you can damage the latch and jam it up.
For that reason, I would recommend the B&W # BWGNXA2061 if its 30K capacity is sufficient.
