I have a 2023 GMC 3500 With the OEM Gooseneck/Fifth wheel prep. I am looking for the shortest ball to bed in 2 5/16 Goose Ball. What are my options?

Expert Reply:
The shortest hitch ball that will fit the GM factory puck system is the Curt item # C60627. The overall height of the Curt Pop-In Ball is 7-7/8" and the installed height is 5-1/8".
This hitch ball is also available with the safety chain loops and a storage case. It is the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit item # C38CR.
