Full Bed Access When You’re Not Towing: Flip-Over Ball Design

Easy Lock and Release from the Wheel Well: Spring-Loaded 5/8" Steel Pin

The locking handle is right by the rear driver-side wheel well, so you can reach it without climbing into the bed. Pull the handle to unlock, twist it to hold open, and drop or flip the ball as needed. The spring-loaded 5/8" steel pin slides through the ball for a secure latch that clicks tight every time.

Installed this on a 2026 Ram 1500 for a customer. While the construction of B&W's hitches are pretty superior, be warned that the install of this hitch (1325) is a bit more complicated than most if not all 3/4 and 1 ton pickups. True to form for B&W every bolt lines up perfectly with no drilling required except the safety chain u-bolts. Even though the install was a bigger pain than most, that's RAM's fault, not the hitch. 5 Stars all day!

Little disappointed in the paint on the hitch. The paint is just peeling and flaking off at the ball mount. I have a B&W fifth wheel for my ram 3500 been using it for years looks brand new. That’s why I went with the brand again for my wife’s truck. As for as Etrailer goes, great shipping speed, easy instructions, I did deep sigh when it said remove entire exhaust but worked great.

This is a very stout, well-engineered and manufactured hitch. It is made in USA,the build quality is impeccable and I know for sure it is stronger than the vehicle frame it was installed on. I got the kit #1067 for my 2005 silverado 2500. It fit fine except the under-box hitch frame was slightly too thick to fit in the space under the box floor so I had to unbolt and lift the box slightly. The instructions have a youtube video supplement, which is nice. However, they didn't always specify how the bolts and washers should be oriented so I had to redo a few to get the pattern that fit well and used up all the washers.

Extremely well made and very beefy. Installation video made the process very smooth. Only install issue related to the handle in the fender well. My truck has an inverter and the heavy cable going to the 110 outlet in the bed ran right over the area the handle is supposed to go when it is to be moved to the left or front of the truck. Once I figured out the problem I was able to zip tie the cable out of the way just enough to free up the handle to release the turnover ball. Have towed a new 5th wheel using a gooseneck adapter and it worked perfectly. Very pleased with the turnover ball system.

This is a great hitch and has performed well over the past year. The install was somewhat simple, my only complaint is that the release handle would be better on the passenger side of my 2021 Ram 2500 to eliminate being so close to all the brake lines.
Overall this is a solid product and I am happy with it.

I was impressed how well all the pieces fit as well as the detailed instructions that were fairly easy to follow. I followed it step-by-step and although it took me a couple hours, I was very pleased with the finish product.

Perfect fit, I wouldnt go as far as to say it was an easy install, qbout 4 hours on 2025 f350. But definitely better then the 1000 bucks the dealer wanted to charge me to install. Then the 1200 bucks he wanted for exact same hitch... Well worth the savings, suck it up do yourself.

Well, the hitch itself is fantastic. What more can you say about a great product great company love it. Installation made easy as possible because of E Trailer their support has been fantastic between me putting it in and even experience a slight issue where my box was opened and I was missing a bolt. Oh by the way, if you are installing one of these, the measurement you need is in the instructions even if it’s hard to read do not make my mistake in ChatGPT go ahead go onto E Trailer they actually have a really good video and you’ll see that you hook onto to the end of your trailer. Well, excuse me the end of your truck bed and pull from there. ChatGPT screwed me, but Trailer did not.

@ChristopherH great question thanks for asking. I am getting an older 2010 escape 5.0 single axle fifth wheel camper. In fact you guys have been helpful with me on that on in a different way for whatever reason I wasn’t able to obtain the information he needed to from escape as far as the brake goes the trailer itself is in Tennessee and I’m in New York. The escape form was really helpful and by the way, the travel trailers typically have an identification number stamped on. as far as the brake goes the trailer itself is in Tennessee and I’m in New York. The hitch is beefy and seem to be very strong. My guess is the truck frame will give before the hitch. Great quality. I very happy! I'm an above average backyard mechanic and found the installation doable, but a little of a challenge. Differently need a help. My wife was a big help. I use a 2X4 across my bed and a ratchet strap to lift and hold the center section in to position. I also had to reposition my exhaust pipe where it goes over the differential to get some clearance. Also, I had to drill out one of the square holes in the tailpipe L bracket to receive the factory bolt.

Great for gooseneck addition. My truck had the rail system installed by the previous owner and it made my bed hard to organize things as well as being in the way for loading supplies. Getting it out and putting in a turnover ball has made my bed more useable.
I don’t have a lifting device in my carport, so I used a ratchet strap around the pin and a four wheeler ramp to lift it up and hold it in place during the bolting portion of the install.

On. Another note, there is a hole template in the box for where you need to drill the holes for the chain tie down points. It was upside down in my box so I didn’t see it until after I was done. So I drilled up from the bottom with small bits to get the holes where I needed them. Then used larger bits from the top down.
Also you do need to remove the spare tire(not optional). I backed my truck up on a set of ramps and am glad that I did for the extra room to sit up and work under the truck. Not always on my back. I did find that bending the heat shield out of the way helped, but if you do that, make sure to remember to bend it back into place when you’re done.

I did watch E trailers installation, video and has, good instructions for assembly and installation haven’t got to use it yet but I had one several years ago that worked perfectly well. I think it will be a good combination with My B & w companion fifth wheel hitch thank you Joy T for all your help

Had one issue with a box that was ripped open by ups. Etrailer staff William S immediately responded when I notified them that I needed this hitch ASAP and I was missing one part. The part was overnighted the following day. Great communication skills! install was easy and fit perfectly. Without a doubt I will purchase any future trailer supplies from etrailer. 100%!
