With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.
The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.
When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.
Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.
Simple, Custom Installation
This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.
Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.
B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer.

Have been driving cross country since purchase. I'm am also using the companion 5th wheel slide with my application. With numerous slides and coupling and uncoupling. Both have performed flaulusly. Cudos to BW.
B&W are great products……. Their product packaging is terrible the hitch comes in two boxes and one box was tore completely open and half of the hardware was missing now I’m sitting here waiting on Etrailer to fix my problem
Called customer service, actually spoke with a real person, Karen, and she verified the B&W hitch kit I needed. She gave email updates on my order. It arrived fast and in good condition. Installed B&W gooseneck hitch, holes did not line up as B&W states. I had to drill holes in the frame myself to continue installation. All else went well. Etrailer/Karen 5 stars and B/W 4 stars.

B&W is the best in the business.. this is my second B&W turnover and both were easy to install (took about an hour and half) and fit perfectly. Do yourself a favor and spray the ball socket with Fluid-Film or similar. Does two things... inhibits rust and also prevents ball from freezing in socket during snowy winter months.

1 year update.. hitch has worked great with zero issues. My only complaint is no matter how hard you try, the frame plates on all B&W hitches seem to rust very quickly. Even with regular Fluid-Film treatment and very little winter driving or salt exposure, the paint flakes off and rust grows quickly. Overall... still a great product!

The recessed ball is wonderful. Strong and out of the way when not needed. To my surprize, everything went easy, following the instructions.

B&W and Etrailer are a great combo. I just ordered this hitch after having a similar one in my 06 Ram. I really like the hitch. I also like that the companion fifth wheel and other B&W accessories can be used on both trucks. I just installed last night and by myself it took about 5 hours. Watch the video and read the instructions. Take your time and do the prep work to get ready for install. I didn’t remove the rear muffler portion and still had plenty of room. I did have a ceiling lift that helps center and lift the hitch portion through the hole. If you don’t have that make sure you have help. Fit as expected with minimal issue. I did not trim the wheel well plastic but may so the handle isn’t hidden. I installed hitch then replaced plastic bedliner and drilled hole through hitch opening from underneath. I also drilled the u-bolt holes with bedliner in and they fit perfectly between the rises.
Received turnover gooseneck hitch and tow & stow receiver hitch very timely. Installed turnover ball without any problems. The adjustable tow & stow works well on the various height trailers and farm implements that I use. This is the second turnover gooseneck I have purchased. One on Ford F-250 the other on Dodge 2500, instructions are great and parts are accurate. Well satisfied with B&W Products and your service at etrailer. Thanks
Great product, easy instructions but had to get an open end socket to torque the last bolt behind the spring latch the swivel socket wouldn’t cut it. Left the exhaust so I had a place to rest the head of the gooseneck. Ratchet strap with a round bar on two jack stands in the bed work great for holding it into place while you install the bolts by yourself.
Was a fairly easy install in both a Ram Mega Cab 3500 and a Ford F-350. Cutting the hole in the bed was the most intimidating part, but as long as you measure just as the directions tell you, it turns out seamless. This is the only way to go if you need a gooseneck hitch!
Purchased for my 2006 Ram MegaCab. I already owned a Companion sliding 5th wheel plate, so I only needed the plate to make it work on this truck. Great product, install was simple and required very little modification to the truck, only the bed floor needs to be cut.
Received the hitch kit for a 2012 Ram 2500 Mega Cab in about 4 working days. The product is very well built and heavier duty than I thought. After receiving it I installed it this morning with just some basic tools and instructions. I did watch a few videos online but I followed the instructions that came with it step by step and didn't have any issues. All in all, from taking wheel liners out to finished it took about 2 1/2 hrs. I am really impressed with the end product. No major modifications were required and no major tools were needed. My truck is however lifted so getting under it and not removing the tires was a advantage. I would defiantly recommend this kit to anyone looking for a high-rated kit. Next up is to order the Companion 5th wheel to go with it. Thanks for making things so easy to find etrailer!
I purchased and installed the hitch myself for my Dodge 2500 Mega cab. Carefully measured and marked the hole locations in my bed, just as the directions indicated. Just like that and a short time later I was finished. I like the turnover design and easy-to-follow instructions.
I have had three gooseneck hitches in different trucks and by far this is my favorite. Instructions are good but watch the video it really helps you understand how it goes together when you are reading through the instruction and installing. Thanks etrailer for the video!
Excellent Product, all parts arrived on time, install went very easy with two people. Only thing I would recommend anyone buying this hitch for a Dodge Ram Mega Cab would be to go ahead and order either the 4-inch extender ball or the Extend-A-Goose Coupler. I order my new Coupler today from etrailer should be here Friday.
The hitch was better than I thought it would be. Installation was easy with the enclosed instruction sheets. The Quality of the hitch assy. is great. I highly recommend this hitch.
The wiring harness worked great and was easy to install.
So far so good. In a year, I’ve used it exactly one time to move a large fifth wheel trailer 100’. I thought I would use it more, but I have not.
Great hitch. I put one of these in every truck I get and recommend friends to use this hitch also.
Install was easy. Set aside a few hours for the install. Only one issue. Directions state crossmember must sit flush with the forward brace of the bed mounts. Found during the final tightening of the bolts, it is impossible to maintain the crossmember against the brace. This caused delay trying to maintain "no gap". The bolt holes in the frame make this "no gap" impossible.

Update, the truck listed about was the Power Wagon. Now, after 1yr the hitch has worked great with zero issues.
