Today we're going to review Part Number E-11. This is Curt 12" long combo bar with the 2" trailer hitch receiver opening in an unpainted finish. This part is designed for use in fabricating under cover receiver hitches, when there's no receiver available. It is made of a cold formed structural tubing. It is sized and punched to fit all common weight distributing hitch ball mounts, or utility ball mounts. Has a forged collar, as you can see right on the opening here.
Again, it's an unpainted, raw finish. The reason that do that; it's ideal for welding, because it will save on your prep time during installation. A few dimensions on this; overall length again from edge-to-edge, going to be right at 12". Again, the opening is going to be 2" x 2". The measurement of the hitch pin hole from the very front to the center of the hitch pin hole is going to be right at 2 1/2". That should do it for the review on part number E-11. Didn't notice before I bought it, but the support protection ring at the opening is a cast piece, nicely rounded and smooth for a professional install and less likely to yield scrapes when reaching around to hook up chains. As such it is also a complete loop, no joints, and it's welded top and bottom to receiver so it won't pop off if it were to scrape some concrete here and there. Some that I looked at were welded only on one side.

It has a really nice forged steel collar around the outside unlike the typical doubled up tube that most receivers use. it will make my custom hitch look great. well worth what I thought was a premium price.

It was exactly as advertised and what i was wanting to modify a hitch. The hitch on my Mercedes station wagon wasn't long enough to clear bumper cover so replacing 8"receiver tube with this was exactly correct length.

Hitch receivers arrived as promised. The product was much better than I expected. It's just an extra receiver to weld on an existing hitch, but it has a brass collar at the receiving end...very nice, and an extra bonus. I will go to etrailer.com first for any other parts I need.
Nice receiver, I welded these to my welding trailer for moving my vise, bench grinder and other accessories around. With small 1.5" welds with 1.5" spaces down each side makes for a solid bond and no warping so hitch still slides smoothly.
Heavy duty, well-made. I bought the unfinished combo bar so that I could weld a coupler to it (I was assembling a device to make it easier for RV dealers to service my travel trailer that features a Hensley Arrow unit). It works like a charm, and was easier to assemble in its raw form. Also easy to paint after assembly.
Product was just what I was looking for. The shipping was fast and the communication was great!
I made a receiver hitch that would bolt onto my camper bumper. I needed this receiver to make the hitch. It worked perfectly.

I used this product to build a spare tire rack in preparation for our trip to Alaska. Your product was tough and durable allowing me to weld the two pieces together forming a receiver for the tire rack.
Quite pleased with etrailer ball hitch accessories which I am using on a spindle wheel motorcycle carrier behind a fifth-wheel trailer.....

Turned out awesome, Can Am said they don't make receivers for the OUtlander model so I did!
We added this receiver to our bumper for front mounting.
Etrailers is our first choice for all trailer accessories.
The product is heavy duty. The quality of the weld work is exceptional. Would recommend this product. Packaged well. Bought a curt rubber end cap. Which by the way is another exceptional product (great quality rubber cap) drilled a few holes painted it and works like a champ. Now I can build a carrier for front of my pickup.
I got 2 of these receiver's for a rear snow pull plow that I made out of a 9' John Deere snow plow that was used on local airport , used the receivers to modify a Kubota tractor 3 point hitch , it works out great no more snow shoveling by the doors back up and pull in away .
Grade A product. Fast shipping! I bought 2 of these to weld on the back of an off road mini camper i am building. They will be supports for stabilizing jacks. 3' square 2 x 2 will slide up and down in them with a foot pad welded to the bottom.

I used these as leveler guides a year ago. I dont think i will ever have to replace them as long as the off rd trailer last. They are very heavy duty quality. I would post a picture of them in use on finished product if i could.
I have a Billy Goat Leaf Loader swing away hitch mount but it didn't come with a hitch to pull a trailer I have a 4x8 open trailer (2000 lb max). So I decided to weld a hitch to it. I also used 1/4 inch thick metal to reinforce the hitch and used etrailer's Safety Chain Loop for Hitch Receivers. I used mig welder with 120amps and had to make extra beads, 3 to 4 beads in some spots i primed it and painted it works great! Thank You etrailer!!!
