12 inch Long Hitch Tube Recommendation that has a 2 inch Opening
Question:
Does this extender have a weight capacity by itself? Im thinking of getting this and welding it to my custom rear bumper, and would like to know the weight capacity it will tow. Im looking for Class IV ability.

The Brophy Hitch Reducer # HR26 has a tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs. I have a better solution for you since this was not designed for welding to a bumper.
For a product that is very similar that is designed to be welded and used as a hitch opening check out the Combo Bar 12" with 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-11. This is also 12 inches long. Check out the review video I attached as well. When installed on your bumper it will have the same capacity as the bumper as long as it is welded by qualified welder.
