Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Lippert Venture RV slide-out actuator with a 40 inch stroke length. Now this part here will replace the actuator that's on your Lippert Components electric through-frame slide-out. This actuator's designed to work with the Tuson motors. Now the motor is not included. When you do have the motor, the motor install in on this end and on the other end, right here, this'll connect to your inner arm assembly.

And then basically when that motor is actuated this actuator will crank this gear to extend the inner arm assembly out of your slide-out. You can see how this cranks and extends out. Now, this part is made in the USA. Few specs on this, the overall length, when this is fully extended out is 98 3/4 inches. When it's fully retracted is gonna be 59 inches.

And as we mention, when this is extended all the way out, when it cranks all the way out, the stroke length is about 40 inches. But that should do it for the review on this Lippert Venture RV slide-out actuator with the 40 inch stroke length..

Worked well. Fixed the issue I had with the slideout hanging up when trying to extend from the fully retracted position.

Better than calling local camping world and never getting and answer! This part showed up at my house after about 3 days and was an OEM part!

I purchased this actuator for my 2017 Coachmen Catalina. The trailer was out of warranty and the local service shop aren't very good so I decided to work on the trailer myself.
The new actuator looks like it is a universal fit for the Lippert 2" electric through frame slide. The motor end has multiple holes pre drilled for different motors but none of the holes were tapped. It was no big deal to drill out the proper hole a bit and tap it to fit the motor bolt from the old actuator but be aware you will need to do a little machine work before it's ready to go. It's heavy and took some work getting it in place. There are excellent installation instructions on the Lippert website which I would recommend reading before attempting the job. Good Part, good service.

It was a learning process on this issue I had with the slide. Ended up working out just fine and with help from your staff and others the slide has function without fault since installing a new actuator.

    Hey James, if you have a Lippert electric through frame slide out then the Lippert Venture RV Slide-Out Actuator # LC145595 could work but you'd need to also measure your current actuator while retracted to be sure. If you measured 59", then the actuator # LC145595 will work great! If not, let me know what you measured, and who makes your slide out, and I'd be happy to take a peek at what we have!     In order to determine if the Lippert Components Venture RV Slide-Out Actuator - 40" Stroke Length Item # LC145595 is correct for your 2005 Glendale Titanium you would to measure the distance between your hydraulic fitting ports. You can also measure the actuator while it is retracted. You would need to measure from thicker end of the tube to opposite end of the thicker tube where the smaller cylinder slides into it.     Part # LC125802 is the right replacement motor but it does not include the actuator. If your actuator is good then you can use this motor to replace the one you have. For a 40 inch actuator we have # LC145595 which is also compatible with the Tucson motors.

    I was unable to find any reference to a 7697028, but if the dimensions are the same, you have an LCI Through-Frame Slide-Out or a Tuson motor, then the Lippert Components Venture RV Slide-Out Actuator - 40" Stroke Length # LC145595 should work for you. It has a 98-3/4" extended length and 59" retracted length so you'll just want to verify you have those same measurements.

    It's technically possible to move to a higher gear ratio for your slide-out but it would require you to completely gut out the existing set up (not just the motor) and it's also likely that it wouldn't resolve the issue you are having.
