Today, were reviewing part number C56080 from Curt. This is Universal 5th Wheel and Gooseneck 7-way Extension. The cable is 7 feet long and of course, its insulated and you simply plug the round end into your existing RV style connector and then this 7-way plug stays in your truck bed and its available for you when youre ready to tow your 5th wheel or gooseneck. This comes with a limited one year warranty. There you have it for part numb C56080 from Curt, the Universal 5th Wheel and Gooseneck 7-way Extension.
part arrived ahead of time. I am taking a long three week trip in the camper and the old cable got fried so I cannot tow my Jeep because it is missing right turn signal. the new cable will replace the old damaged one. I'm so excited !!! No worries on my travels.

I bought the adapter based on advice. The 7-Pole Round Trailer Connector Adapter # PK12727 is NOT the same as the Lance plug. Adapter is good quality and arrived quickly bu unfortunately would not work for my Lance camper factory plug.

If the camper has a 7-way round pin, youll need an adapter like part PK12727.

I was in a real pinch and I needed one of these right away when nobody else kept them in stock. Got it in two days. Great job etrailer.
Excellent product, very strong, great quality steel and grade bolts.
Installed it on my 2002 Dodge Ram. Very simple, and it took about 3 hours start to finish. I applied Red threadlocker to all nuts and bolts, and checked them 3 months after installation. I didn't connect the quick release arm, due to my bed having inner wheelwell skirts, but I just put a ziplock bag over my ball when not towing. The kit works great, the ball is high grade alloy. I was slightly concerned because I tow alot over the Rockies, but it's been very reliable. Thanks B&W, I recommend you to my friends out there!
It wasn't what I explained i needed. The product is perfect. What I asked for was an 8 ft that I could hardwire to the trailer that had the plug on the truck end.

It sounds like you are looking for a trailer side plug. I recommend part # H20046.
We purchased a new 5th wheel so had to upgrade the wiring harness. This harness was a simple plug and play and works great with our new 5th wheel. My husband leaves it plugged into his wire harness under the bumper and has it run up between the tailgate and the back of the bed and just leaves it in his truck. We do have a cover on our truck so it is not exposed to the elements. I would highly recommend this wiring harness to anyone.
Solved my problem without a bunch of rewiring. Now I can pull my trailer.
The cable was delivered promptly and it functions as advertised. Be aware that it is a thick cable if you are planning on running it through tight openings or sharp turns. I bought it mainly to allow connecting to a trailer while not hitched to it and to allow in-line balasts to be on a cable rather than putting a strain on the socket on the tow vehicle. But I also wanted to check when brake lights came on when coasting in various modes of a PHEV. I gently left the tailgate resting on the cable rather than closing it for that test.
Appears to be well made. Price was right and as always the service from etrailer was second to none. I'm sure by the look of it that it will perform as intended.

Still holding up.
This is the cats meow. Took maybe 15 minutes to install, most of which was drilling the hole. Connections were spot on. After a year still working great. If you haul a 5th wheel, gooseneck or just need an in bed ug I highly recommend this item.
Decent hitch but etrailer again shorted me parts.
I contacted etrailer and told them the parts that were shorted.
They did not take responsibility and blamed it on the manufacture.
This is now the second time I have had problems with etrailer in the last 6 months.
Now my customer is pissed that the hitch will take an additional 1 week for the missing parts to be shipped.
I am done with etrailer.
The 7-pin extension is the perfect solution, allowing me to work on the trailer lights and brakes while at home. I am impressed with the selection of products available and will undoubtedly make more purchases throughout the year!

The extension cable if perfect for the gooseneck trailer to semi truck 5th wheel. No need to cut up and extend the trailer cable.
This extension cord is what I've been looking for. Product came to post office very quickly. Bought this for our 5th wheel and to move electrical hookup from bumper to bed without cutting more holes in bed. 5th wheel is still under wraps for the winter and I haven't installed yet. Will be a couple of months before actual use. The cord is heavy duty construction

very handy to have. we have a couple pickups that the plugs are to off to the side or hitches are to long or trailer plug is to short and this makes it easy.
I need an extension to easy the connection of our RV to the toad.
This work perfectly although I wish there was a shorter extension.
The quality of the cord looks good, I have used the same brand umbilical for several years without issues.
Easy to connect to existing wiring harness, allows for extra space. Very sturdy connection.
Received as ordered, have not used it yet. etrailer is the place to go for all kinds of equipment for towing, trailers, RV & camping and more.
