Recommended Wiring for Semi Tractor to Tow Gooseneck Trailer

I have a gooseneck trailer with a stand 7 way connector cable, I would like to connect it to a semi tractor which also has a 7 way connector cable. Is there an adapter that can handle that?

The wiring on a semi is not normally the same as a standard RV or Gooseneck trailer. You will need to use a couple different harnesses to get what you are looking for. I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT which will clip onto your truck wiring to capture signal. Then you will need to hardwire a brake controller like # 90195 and use the 7-way brake controller kit # ETBC7 to make the wiring compatible with your trailer.
If you need an extension, you can use the Curt Universal 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 7-Way Extension - 7' Long # C56080.
