While our typical 7-way extensions like the Curt Universal 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 7-Way Extension # C56080 are a straight cable you can make an extension with a coiled cable. We have the Bargman 7-Way, RV-Style Connector w/ 6' Long Coiled Cable # WG54006-043 or 12' Long Coiled Cable # WG54006-046 that you can wire to a Curt 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector # C58155. The coiled cable will help protect the cord from dragging but gives you the expandability of its length. I have included a wiring chart that will help you wire the connector.
