Video Transcript for Breaking Down the NOCO AC Port Plug with Dual Extension Cords

What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we are going checking out our NOCO AC port with dual plugs here on our hike outdoors camper. The benefit to having this plug installed on your camper like we have today is you can have that access to that 12 volt plug. So you can run your central cord and plug it in here. So this is mounted on the side of our camper, and then these are run on the inside that have the two ports in there.

So now instead of having just one cable, we could only power one device. We can plug two separate things into the same port. Some things I want to show you on here before we show you the one that's already been installed is we've got the seal here on the backside. So even though when this is pushed up and you've drilled that hole, you can put this up against your trailer. And that's going to seal that when it's pressed in there and there's already holes put in the rubber.

So you have to drill through that. The holes are ready to go. So you just line those up. And it comes with a hardware installed to actually mount that to the side. This is what it looks like on the side of our camper.

I'm going to pop the cover off and you can just see how they, where exactly you plug in or extension cord. Really easy to do. I like that this port is here on the outside, you don't have to run a cable to the inside and leave the door open that can just be kind of annoying. And then just asking for problems to happen. It's really easy to access this port.

And then when you're not using it, you just unplug it and then cover it back up. So we have routed to the inside here. You can see both ports coming in and plugged into their devices. One of them plugged into the charger over there, just hooked up to the battery to make sure that's when you plug that in, it's going to monitor the battery and see where it is and try and keep it nice and charged even with his interviews. And then you can see the other plug here off to the side and that's providing power to other systems in our camper. Overall, the installation process, isn't too bad. You will need a two inch hole saw, cause that's going to be the diameter of this portion that's actually going into the camper. So they will route this through that hole that you drill. And it'll go set up against it on the side like ours is, and then these will run in the inside. So really just kind of get that two inch hole saw. That's going to be probably the hardest part. And then it's just routing wires. So make sure you scout out the right place to put yours probably near the electric, like ours was here. In this portion in this cubby hole, scout out, whenever you put in the right place, you don't have to route these too far. Like I showed you earlier, you're going to have the three school holes and the port ready to go. It's going to give you the screws to put it in there too. And there's holes in the seal already on the backside when you go to put that on there. So just line that up turn the screws in, and you're done, you can just put the cover back on and it's waterproof and water tight. Overall, really helpful to have. I really liked that it has two ports to use. Don't want to drill any more holes than I have to in the camper. So having these two power sources go to this one port, it's really nice. Plus it's the same. It's no co so it matches the charge dryer that we have installed. So I just like to use the products that work together under the same brand, just so I know everything's going to work just fine. Well, I think that about does it. Thanks for hanging out and I hope this out..

I use the trailer plug on a daily basis. They are holding up well with no issues. I installed the plus thru the trailer floor. I live on a dirt road. The protective covers remain closed and have kept all mud and water out.
