Installed on nose of car hauler to store a marine battery. Works great and looks factory. Battery used to operate tongue jack and lights. Paired with redarc charge unit, fused disconnect, and 120v charger. Charges while towing and when connected to AC. Would be 5 stars if the battery mounting was better. Comes with a fabric strap.
This was a good purchase, I had my battery stolen from my Rv trailer.
I'm using this as a battery box for my custom truck. I built a bracket to mount it to the inside of the frame. The box is ok. Upon opening the lid I found a couple of deep scratches on the back of one of the diamond plate walls. I get it... it's inside the box and out of view, but it still bothers me a little. The lid is finicky. When I rotate it down to close it, I have to "jiggle and wiggle" it before it is able to slide into the close (locking) position. My last gripe (so far) is the huge sticker with the TorkLift logo that's stuck to the front of the box. I paid a fortune for this thing, and there's no way I'm going to advertise for them on top of it all. It took a lot of effort (heat, goo gone, etc) to get that thing off. That alone is what motivated me to come on to review it. I also believe it is over-priced for what you get. After seeing it, holding it, and adapting it for my requirements... I should have just built one myself.
Used on my boat trailer to secure the battery for a power winch install. This is the way to go over hand winching.
Fast etrailer delivery. The box is extremely well made, high quality mounting hardware included. Easy to install, good directions. Design of the lid allows install in a tight location.
Box looks to be good quality construction and materials.

Great box. Fit perfectly on my 5x8 trailers tongue.
A year of owning it through new England weather and it still looks like new! Used self tapping screws to mount directly on frame. Had to use 2x4 pieces to keep battery from moving since I have a slightly smaller battery
Nice secure box for the battery. I did change out the lock to a barrel lock which matched my other locks on my trailer. But the box itself is really nice and had enough room for the batter and the shunt for my battery monitor.
Excellent product
This TorkLift PowerArmor Single Locking Battery Box is the most ingeniously designed battery lock-box ever - the lid comes completely off with just a slight adjustment toward the narrow end. No worries about battery-access, even in the tightest spot, so long as there's about an inch front/back of the box to accommodate the lid's front lip & the back "tabs/hinges" - simply shift the lid slightly toward the narrow end, open it and lift it off. This allows for complete and open access to the entire inside of the box. The cable access hole is dead-center just below the lid on the back/hinged side. I might have to make access holes to the left and right of that hole in order to get my seemingly shorter cables attached - shortest route would be best for my configuration, anyway. If that's the case, I'll have to figure out how to plug the hole, but that's the least of my concerns - securing my RV battery is paramount and this box is sure to do the job - and look mighty stylish at the same time.
Built with excellent materials, powder coat, brackets, and the installation hardware, looks great. However the provided key lock uses a key that is used on all travel trailer, so it looks visually secure but the key to open is everywhere that makes the box pretty useless. It would also be nice if a plug could be provided to plug the 2” hole if not used.
Just what I was looking for. Very Sturdy
The box is very nice but it suffers from on FATAL FLAW, namely, that it isn't secure against anybody but the most casual thief. Why? Because it is keyed with the infamous CH751 key, which anybody can buy offline for a couple of bucks.
This isn't etrailer's fault, of course--they only sell the thing and didn't design it. But now I gotta figure out a way to add security to an already costly box.
I must say that service from etrailer was great--the box arrived at my house just 3 days after I ordered it.

Great craftsmanship, looks stylish on my trailer
The box and lock have worked out great.
Been mounted outside on my small TT rv for a year and shows little sign of any wear. Well made, strong product with good locking top.
Installation was straight forward. Product is of high quality and quite sturdy. I have no concerns this will secure my battery against passive theft.

Could not ask for anything better from seller. Contact and shipping was first rate. Ordered one day and it was delivered two days later. Install was by the book as soon as I pulled my head out. Looks great and feel a lot safer.
