This is a great product. Well built, easy to install because all the extras need were included with the box.(including battery hold-downs and mat for the bottom. Construction of the box was very good with tight rivets.
Would highly recommend this box. One of the few that hold 2 group 27 batteries.

Not cheap, but well worth the money! I recently transferred the box to a new travel trailer and had fortunately kept all the original accessories. Given those mounting parts, the (re-)installation was a breeze.

I installed this on the front of my travel trailer to provide security for my dual batteries. Great box, very well built and looks nice. Comes with hardware and clear instructions for different mounting options. Only negative is the lock, which came keyed to the very common CH751 key. Google CH751 and you will find that everyone probably has this key who has an RV, gas cap, etc., which negates the otherwise great security the box provides. I opted to replace the lock with a higher security tubular keyed lock. The lock is easy to replace, but plan on spending an additional $20 or for a different lock. I also mounted a battery switch on the side of the box.

I purchased this battery box and installed it almost two years ago. It is expensive, but very well worth it. I installed it to carry two 6V batteries because we do a lot of dry camping and need the durable battery power. The box looks great installed and provided excellent protection from thieves. I installed interior hold down brackets to insure the batteries do not move during travel. I can't take claim to the install, I copied someone that had previously put this install online. It works perfect and is a very clean install. I've had many people comment that the factory should have this as an option. I added an additional lock, the the lock on the right side is not adequate and is keyed to a CH751 lock that's on every trailer out there. Not secure at all. With the added lock I'm very confident my batteries are safe. Well worth it!!

The battery box arrived a day earlier than expected and was in great shape. Lot's of mounting options with hardware included. I have to point out that they provide first class hardware for mounting. Much better than what you would get at the big box hardware store etc. The battery box looks great, is very well built and easy to install. Exactly what i was looking for.

Best purchase ever. I have two 6 volt golf cart batteries and constructed a center console out of PVC trim board to support the terminal block and shunt. Very happy with the install and quality of product. It fit on the factory rails/angles. Thanks etrailer!

Bought this box because it is the perfect size for 2/6V Trojan 105's. The box seems to be made very well, which I would hope for the price. I was pretty disappointed in the "straps" provided to hold the batteries. There is no way those straps would work to hold 2 /70 pound batteries in place on the tongue of a trailer. Anyway, I think that if the engineers would add a few more holes in the bottom, 2 pieces of angle iron or aluminum and some all-thread, the batteries would be much more stable. Probably lost any warranty on the box, but it seems to work pretty well for me. thanks!

I looked in a lot of places before I found this battery box. It is exactly what I wanted. It is well-made and secure. I do not worry about my batteries being stolen while in this box and mounted to my trailer. Great quality great price!

Excellent Product, Well built and sturdy. Processing and shipping time was slower that I would like (Ordered on June 7 didn't even ship until June 13 arrived July 2nd to Alberta Canada) But installation was a breeze and I am happy with the product!

Excellent product as described needed something to secure expensive Lithium batteries I recently purchased. Only comment is adding internal liner (rubber) to prevent grounding during wiring installation.

Bolted to back of RV on bumper for add'l coach batteries. So now I have four in parallel. Some slight modification to box and all works perfect.

The product exceeded my expectations. One recommendation though. Being as it is used for batteries, you should ask the purchaser if they would like the inside of the cavity coated with a non static rubber base. As I did this myself, it prevents any positive leads from touching the case and creating aark. Use that is you would.Otherwise its is an excellent product.

This is a really nice battery box and is exactly as described. Our new batteries are quite expensive, so it's really nice that this box also locks. We received it within a week but haven't installed it on our trailer yet, so I can't provide a picture.
I want to add that customer service is fantastic! A rarity these days.

Despite some confusion on the measurements that required clarification from etrailer support when I ordered, I'm very happy with this battery box. It fits two Expertpower 100AH LiPO4 batteries (slightly shorter BCI Group 31) perfectly, with enough play to get them in and out with heavy gauge wiring. The box is plenty strong enough to stand on, convenient for loading the top rack of the camper. The powder coating is a nice quality and has held up over the past year.

Fabulous. Well made, simple to mount. Clean and tidy. I have 2 Group 27 12V batteries. Just enough room, c/w tie-down straps (included). I added an isolation switch and resettable fused overload for the power tongue unit on the exterior, along with a solar panel receptacle. All work great. Clean, tidy, and secure.

Quality is solid! Mounting hardware gives you everything you will require for a solid install. Lock works well in all conditions (below freezing). Great fit for 2 new Trojan T105’s AGM 6 V.
But, like other reviews the batteries will require some custom work to secure them in the box. The straps they provide are temporary! For the price of this item it should have something better. I used a single heavy strap that took some time and adjustments weaving it through the bottom slats and then moving the batteries accordingly till the batteries were solid.
It has been a year since my install and I am very pleased with this addition.

Needed more battery room so I could upgrade to two T-125 6 volt Trojans on my Lance 2185 travel trailer. This box was easy to mount with great instructions. It looks great and its nice to have those expensive batteries locked up.

- Can TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box Be Installed on Top of the Trailer FrameThere are no laws I am aware of that would prevent you from mounting the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box on top of the trailer frame. It would not hurt to contact the local DMV or state highway patrol office to confirm. On a lot of trailers, the propane tanks are mounted up front and sometimes overhang the frame so I can't imagine that batteries contained in a secure steel or aluminum box would be any different.
