Weight and Mounting Bracket Location for TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box
Updated 03/22/2016 | Published 03/19/2016 >
Question:
What is the weight of this box and can it be mounted with the brackets front and back or does it have to be mounted at each side. Its the right size for the batteries but will straddle the V of my trailer tongue and not sit inside them. Im hoping to fit it on the tongue of a scamp 13foot travel trailer. Thanks.

TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box # TLA7712R weighs approximately 14 pounds with a shipping weight of 14.55 pounds. Basically, however you can mount the box will be fine as long as it is secured to the trailer. Installation may or may not require the brackets.
