Question:
What size, thickness, or gauge wire is needed to connect two GC2 batteries in series? I am swapping out the single Group 24 12v battery on my 21foot travel trailer and replacing it with 2 GC2 6v batteries that I want to wire in series. I will have them in a Camco Dual Battery Box.

Expert Reply:
When wiring two 6-volt batteries in series you can use 10 Gauge Primary Wire # 10-1-1.
We sell this by the foot so you will just need to order whatever length you need for your application. And for a battery box we do not offer a Camco dual battery box but we do have another option which is the outstanding TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box - 6V and 12V Batteries # TLA7708R.
I have added a link to a video review as well.
