Question:

What battery box would you recommend for mounting under the gooseneck of a horse trailer and how would you mount it? I need it to hold two deep cycle marine batteries. Thanks!

The TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box - 6V and 12V Batteries # TLA7708R would be a great choice and can fit up to two group 31 deep cycle marine batteries. This battery box would be mounted anywhere on the trailer that has steel or aluminum, however that would require some fabrication. You would have to make some type of mounting bracket for the battery box and weld it onto the trailer.

Or you can use something like the Tow-Rax Battery Box - Polished Aluminum # TWSP14BP in which case you can just run some self tapping screws through the box and into the trailer. The only problem is the fact that this box can only hold one battery.
