Group 27 batteries are typically 12" L x 7" W x 9" T so I'm assuming your 14" x 14" measurement is just the two batteries butted up against each other. The options that we carry wouldn't really work with the long sides of the batteries facing each other so we'll have to look at options where they are short side by short side.
Assuming the width of the batteries is 7" the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box # TLA7708R you were looking at would be a good option. With its 7-5/8" W x 26-1/2" L x 12-1/2" H you'd have enough room to sit both batteries side by side, with enough excess space for your cables to fit nicely.
This battery box is vented to help prevent dangerous gasses from building up and a 1-5/8" access hole for your cables to pass through to the trailer. Heavy duty boxes like these are great for exterior use and can hold up better than the plastic battery boxes do to the elements or flinging road debris. TorkLift also makes a solar panel for their boxes to help trickle charge the batteries when in storage so you don't have to worry about coming back to a dead battery.
If the dimensions of your batteries differ then please let me know the actual dimensions of just one battery so I can look for an alternative solution.
