  • Extra Long Ball Mount Approximately 14 Inches From Center of Hitch Pin to Center of Ball Hole
We offer an Extra Long Ball Mount, # D-28, which has a 4 inch rise and a 6 inch drop. The distance from the center of the pin hole to the center of the ball hole is 14-1/4 inches. In order to maintain the structural integrity of the ball mount, making modifications like drilling a new hole is strongly discouraged and all warranties would be void.

  • Ball Mount For 2002 Toyota Sienna With Curt Hitch C13511 For Towing U-Haul Trailer
I can help you out with the right ball mount and hitch ball for your 2002 Toyota Sienna so you can tow a U-Haul trailer with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13511. When we installed this hitch on a 2002 Sienna, we found that the distance from the ground to the top of the hitch receiver was 13-1/2 inches; since the bottom of the U-haul coupler is going to be 18-1/2 inches from the ground (that is what they mean when they say "optimal ball height" as that is how far off the ground the...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Toyota Highlander
For your 2017 Toyota Highlander the best hitch option is the Draw Tite # DT65MR as it has the best capacity and has a great price. Hitch installs are pretty basic for qualified mechanics. The best advice I can give would be to find a local mechanic to you with a good reputation and let them install it. I attached an install video as well for you to check out to see if you might be able to tackle it yourself.

  • Ball Mount with 4 inch Rise Recommendation for Use with Curt Hitch for 2003 Lincoln Town Car
Hey Justin, when we installed the Curt hitch part # 13707 on a similar 2004 Lincoln Town Car to your 2003 model we found that from the top of the hitch opening to the ground measured 11 inches. So the correct amount of rise you'd want would be right at 4 inches like the ball mount # D-28 which also happens to be a longer ball mount so it would also not interfere with your rear bumper.

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Non-Trailhawk 2018 Jeep Cherokee
The Draw-Tite # DT28MR will only fit Trailhawk models, as they have a different rear bumper. If you attempted to install it on a non-Trailhawk model the bumper would get in the way and prevent you from installing it. For a non-Trailhawk 2018 Jeep Cherokee, I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13172. When installed, the hitch will be mostly concealed behind the bumper with the only visible portions of the hitch being the square receiver tube and the safety chain hoops. The installation...

  • Which Stealth Hitch Option for Towing Small Boat With 2021 Hyundai Palisade
The # 391CONVPT5L Stealth Hitch you'd looked at doesn't include the receiver that's designed for towing, it's meant for hitch mounted accessories only, but there are options that would allow you to tow your boat. To tow your boat, there's a couple ways you can go to upgrade to make that possible. You could use the part # 391CONVPT5L hitch, add the # 391BMU5L ball mount and a # 63845 2-inch trailer ball and the # CU94FR 4-pole trailer wiring harness, which would provide you everything you...

  • Long Shank Ball Mount with 6" Drop Needed for Towing
Hey Greg, thanks for reaching out! We have the Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # D-28 which is 14-1/4" long and features a 6" drop, but the max weight rating is 6K which might be a bit under what you're wanting. I've got some options that are more heavy-duty, but I'll need to know what length you're looking to get out of this setup. If you can let me know what you're looking for from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball, I can filter through our selection so...

  • Towing Bike Rack Availability with 5 Drop Ball Mount for Towing Vintage Trailer
We do have ball mounts with a 5" drop that you can use with the Swagman Traveler XCS # S64664, but none of our towing bike racks come with a ball mount that has a 5" drop (none of them actually come with a ball mount as the pictures are for demonstration purposes). If you would like to stick with the XCS that you referenced then I recommend using the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit # 989900 for 2" trailer hitches. This comes with a 2 different ball mounts, one of which has a 4" drop (which...

  • Availability Of 12" Long Ball Mount With 1-1/4" Hitch Ball Hole And 3" Rise
I have an option that may work for you, but we do not have a ball mount with 4" rise, a 1-1/4" shank hole, and is 13" - 14-1/2" long. The closest option we have is the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 12" Long - 12,000 lbs # 4285 which is 12" long and has a 3" rise. For this option you would use 2-5/16" hitch ball # BWHB94003 which has a 3-1/4" long shank and has a 1" rise to get you back up to 4" total rise. If your new trailer is under 6000lbs I recommend is...

  • Concealed Trailer Hitch With Maximum Ground Clearance/Trailer Wiring Harness for 2020 Toyota Sienna
I'd be happy to help with that. Let's begin with the hitch. For the most concealment/ground clearance I'd recommend the Curt class III hitch, part # C13343. This hitch will be mostly concealed, with the crossbar being hidden behind the bumper/fascia. The only visible portion of the hitch will be the receiver tube and the safety chain loops. For a 4-pole trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the Tekonsha # 118648. You'll also need a ball mount. The average leveled height of a trailer...

  • Trailer Hitch Fits Recommended for 2013 Subaru Crosstrek
We do indeed offer hitch fit options for the 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. If your Crosstrek is equipped with the knock-out panel in the rear bumper panel, and you'd like a partially concealed hitch that mounts behind the bumper with only the receiver tube and safety chain loops being visible, I'd recommend the EcoHitch # 306-X7203. This hitch only works on Crosstrek models with the bumper knock-out panel. If you'd like a standard, fully visible hitch, I'd recommend the etrailer brand Class...

The # C13400 or # e35ZR mount to the underside of the frame members, and the entire hitch and receiver tube is fully visible from the rear of the vehicle. • Is Bumper Fascia Trimming Needed to Install etrailer e89YR Class III Hitch on 2021 Ford Escape
To install the etrailer brand # e89YR Class III hitch on your 2021 Ford Escape, you will NOT need to trim the bumper fascia, as you can see in the provided photo and video showing the identical Curt hitch being installed on a 2021 Ford Escape like yours. If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # TE54FR, a ball mount like # D-28 along with a # PC3 hitch pin and a trailer ball like # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.

We offer the Draw-Tite # DT85MR, the etrailer brand # e93ZR and the Curt # C24HR Class III hitches, all of which will fit your 2021 Nissan Rogue. All three hitches have identical towing/tongue weight capacities of 3500/525 lbs. The Curt and the etrailer brand are nearly identical, with the only difference between the two is the finish, the etrailer brand hitch has a matte finish while the Curt hitch finish is glossy. • Can Draw-Tite 76138 Class III Hitch Be Installed on 2022 Mazda CX-5 Without Using a Lift
The Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 76138 is indeed a fit for a 2022 Mazda CX-5. Because the muffler on your vehicle is very large and is positioned at the center of the vehicle, it'll need to be temporarily lowered as shown in the linked install video. It will be very difficult to lower the muffler without the rear of the vehicle being raised, so I'd recommend using a set of ramps such as # FT11909MI to provide some room under the rear of the vehicle. • What Trailer Hitch will Give me the Highest Ground Clearance on My 2021 Toyota RAV4?
As far as 2-inch hitches that are available for your 2021 Toyota RAV4, the hitch that has the greatest ground clearance is the etrailer Trailer Hitch - 2" # e23ZR. It has a ground clearance measurement of about 10-1/4 inches. We haven't had a chance to install the EcoHitch # EH97FR, but given the way the hitch installs, I'd expect the ground clearance to be similar to that of the other of the etrailer hitch. • Longer Ball Mount Recommendation with 6 inch Drop for Towtector Mud Flap
The TowTector is very similar to our RockTamer mudflaps like the part # ERT00108. These require a longer shank ball mount so that they can attach. For that we have the Curt ball mount # D-28 which is 14-1/4 inches long and has a 6 inch drop. It only has a 6k capacity though. For a somewhat shorter ball mount that's similar we have the Curt # C45240 which does have a 7,500 lb capacity and is 12-1/4 inches long from pin hole to ball hole center.
